Happy Heart Day....{MCT 3D Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another

3D Wednesday with My Creative Time!

Love is in the air and I have a sweet Valentines Day treat idea to share using some older MCT goodies.

One of my favorite MCT dies is the Treat Slider Box. You can whip up tons of these treat for any holiday using designer paper and changing up the sentiment.
To make my treat box, I used some pretty pink polka dot designer paper and die cut using the Treat Slider Box. For the inside slider part (I apologize that I do not have a pic) was die cut using some white cardstock.
The heart "love" sentiment is from the Heart 2 Heart Love Frame. The bottom layer was die cut with kraft cardstock and the "love" layer in white which I colored pink using my copic markers.
That was then popped up onto the front of the treat box.
The sentiment, from the I Adore You set, was stamped onto a Ribbon End Banner and placed also onto the front of the treat box.
For the treats inside, I used some Hershey nuggets (4 fit perfectly inside) and wrapped them with kraft and white cardstock using the matching scalloped die from the Treat Slider Box.
I finished off my project by wrapping the box with a piece of Totally White Trendy Twine and tying it into a bow.

A sweet treat perfect for Valentines Day!!!

MCT 75th New Release Sneak Day Day 3...{Cute Heart Tag Die}

Good Morning and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the

75th New Release from My Creative Time!

Today the DT is showcasing the new die~

Cute Heart Tag Die 

and I have 2 different tags to share with you....

For my first tag, I used the Cute Heart Tag Die, diecut in white and added the hearts in black and pink/white designer paper for the layers. Keeping the tag simple, I used the "love" diecut from an earlier release~ More Scalloped Heart Die and added it to the top of the heart....a perfect match too :) I finished that tag off with some matching Totally Black Trendy Twine

My second tag, I diecut using kraft cardstock and added white and red cardstock for the layers. The sentiment comes from the I Adore You Kit, and again fits perfectly inside the heart! I added 2 smaller heart diecuts from the Stitched Heart Layering Dies set and finished this tag off with some Cherry Latte Trendy Twine

2 totally different tags but both perfect for Valentines Day!! I love these and hope you do too!

What did you think of the new I Adore You Kit that was released on Friday? 

Pretty awesome and perfect for Valentines Day right!!

For my project today, I used the new I Adore You Kit...a sentiment stamp and a die to make a Valentine's Day Post it note holder.

To make this post it note holder, I started with a piece of kraft cardstock that I cut/score to the following dimensions--7 3/8 x 3 1/4 then score at 3 1/8, 3 1/2 and 3 7/8
I added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut a piece of pattern paper with the Stitched Squares Inside & Out set.
Using the new heart die from the I Adore You set, I cut it out 2 times, once in white cardstock and again in a matching pattern paper so I could layer the 2 onto the front of the note holder.
For the sentiment, I used the Vintage Stitched Label Die and sized it down to fit the sentiment.
A cute mini pen completed my project!

"I Adore You KIT"

Here is the card I made using this set......

To make my card, I used the adorable new heart stencil for the background of my card mat. With the ombre effect and some Hero Arts Pink to Red ink, I inked up the stencil. I followed that same pattern when inking up the heart and "U" die cut.
The heart die cut is from the new set being showcased today. I die cut the center with the matching ink and the frame with some kraft cardstock.
Following the same technique, I die cut the "U" from the Uppercase Fun Dies set in matching ink and added a slight offset of the letter in kraft cardstock.
For the stamped heart...I used the set Live Love Laugh and Be Happy and connected my heart and U together.
The sentiment comes from the new set as well.
I finished my card off by popping up the heart and U with some foam, adding the die cut mat to another white card mat that was cut from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die set and adding both layers onto a kraft cardstock card base.
