Happy Father's Day....MCT Challenge

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time Designer Challenge!
With Father’s Day this month, today’s challenge is to make a MASCULINE THEMED card. Anything “guyish” – manly color palette, favorite sport, dad’s favorite chair, etc

I actually have 2 cards to share...I made one and wasn't to fond of it so I made another one. I wont tell you which one they were but I do want to share them both.
For this card I wanted to make something simple highlighting some of the new products that Miss Emma just released. So I used designer paper from Echo Park and the new Bunch of Fun Circle Dies (I think my new favorite die set..LOL!) Then adding the "DAD" using the Lowercase Fun Dies to the center of the randomly placed circle dies. For the sentiment, I used the new stamp set, Lost At Sea and stamped it into the Vintage Stitched Label Die. To finish off my card, I added some Totally Natural Trendy Twine and some fun mini enamel dots.

Now onto my next card...
Baseball is HUGE in my family. My husband is the head coach for 2 baseball teams~ the boys house teams and then is the assistant coach for my youngest son's 10U travel team. We spend every weekend, all day on the field and I wouldn't have it any other way :)
So in honor of my hubs, I  made this card for the boys to give to him on Father's Day.
For my card, I started by using one of the Fun Stitched Edges Die and cut my stitch line. Then using the smallest Stitched Chevy Die, I die cut 5 using red cardstock. I placed then along the stitched line with the hopes of making it look like a baseball :)
Finally I stamped my sentiment using 3 different stamps from the Sports Sentiment Stamp Set.

So there is my Designer Challenge inspiration. I hope you like my cards.
Make sure to head on over to the My Creative Time blog for more inspiration from the rest of the DT and for all the details on linking up your project!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!
