Sometimes in the Winds of Change.......{TAWS}

Good Morning Everyone!!
It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and I have a card to share using a few of the new release stamp sets for this month.

I used the sketch from this week's The Friday Mashup!

and came up with this....
UPDATE!!!!
I fixed my picture!!!!

I do not like the picture I took and had such a hard time getting it to photo decent :(
Sorry...the biggest thing I hate about sharing my projects is sharing ones that the picture turns out poorly!! (can you tell I am having a bum day....YUCK!!)

I used TAWS~ Tag Alongs, Life is Short and Tiny Treasures for my card.
The designer paper is from Studio Calico Here and There collection.
I added a button from my stash as well as some Trendy Twine in Chocolate Truffle

Well that is all I have for you this morning!
Short and sweet :)
Hope you all have a GREAT day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Life is About..... w/TAWS

Good Morning Everyone!!
It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and I have a card to share using one of the new release stamp sets for this month~ Life is Short
Using this week's sketch from Retro Sketches I came up with this CAS card...
I just love this sentiment and though it matched perfectly with the great sketch. Very easy to put together and a great lift me up card for someone.
After I had my rainbow cardstock cut to size and laid on how I wanted it, I wrapped some Trendy Twine in Black Licorice around my mat and at popped up the purple piece.
I stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and adhered the whole thing to an A2 size card.
CAS right??

Well that is all I have for you this morning!
Hope you all have a GREAT  day and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Anything Goes w/The Kraft Journal {Exciting News}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!
I have super exciting news as well as a "step outside my comfort zone " project to share today!
Ready for the exciting news...........
I am a new DT member over at The Kraft Journal!!
You all know how much I love my kraft and I try VERY hard each and every week to enter their challenges, because they are awesome you know....and
~for the most part I think I have entered them all this year so far~
LOL!
So now I am on the other side and get to share more Kraft~y projects with you all!!
I sure hope you will check out their challenges on The Kraft Journal Blog, become a follower so you don't miss out on all the creative inspiration and tutorials AND check out The Kraft Outlet where you can purchase all these products at such a GREAT price.

This leads me to my first project for the new challenge which is:
Anything Goes
I wanted to try something new, I have made mini notebooks before but never with a vintage-y feel so I hope you like what I have created...
Here is my mini journal that I picked up from The Kraft Outlet,
I used the small, Natural Crinkle Journal and then went about embellishing it.
You know I love my sewing machine, so I of course had to use it on my designer paper.
I found this cling butterfly stamp in my stash and thought it would add some extra texture along with some SU bling
Here is a close-up of the sentiment I used....it is one of this month's new releases from
The Alley Way Stamps~ Life is Short

So what do you think??? I hope you like my first DT project for The Kraft Journal and will check out what the rest of the DT has created HERE.
I would love to see you play along with this challenge as well :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!!
