O.k so a little change in plans....
I will be back later with my Cutting Cafe DT Post
but
I wanted to share and get my entry in for this weeks
Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge~ Anything Goes
For those of you that follow my blog...I recently shared pictures of my "Girls"
yup ....my chickens
I have received lots of questions so here are the answers...
We have had these girls for 3 1/2 years.
We started out with 16 and have 9 left :(
~due to age and sickness~
We order our chickens through the mail....yes you read that right online and they get shipped to us at 3 days old.
They hatch at the chicken hatchery and immediately get boxed up and shipped.
Since they are shipped at hours old they can survive for 3 days without food or water.
They come by USPS and I receive a phone call as soon as they arrive at the post office.
They lay beautiful and yummy eggs!!!
There is nothing and I mean nothing better that fresh eggs!!
I highly recommend if you have the chance to try fresh eggs at least once!
You can totally taste the difference!!
The best part about our girls.....they are so super friendly!
They let my boys pick them up and as you can see from the picture they will come right up to you!
Since they are at the end of their laying time we will be getting more and these girls will be moved into
a new "retirement" home to live out the rest of their lives!
They really are the best pets!
I <3 my Girls!
