Season's Greeting~ Amber Ink Holiday Cheer

Good Morning Everyone!
I just realized as I began to type up this blog post that today is 11/11/11.
How crazy is that :)

I have another Amber Ink card to share with you today.
I am beginning to make all my Christmas cards, I have a handful done but many more to do!

I have presents on the brain and this is what came out on paper.
I wanted my card to look like a wrapped gift.
How did I do?
All my plain card stock is from PTI and that pattern paper is Amber Ink ~ Green Holiday Cheer
I heat embossed the "seasons greeting" sentiment using crystal embossing power and like the way it turned out :)
The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam in Holly Berry ~ BTW it is a perfect match to the Pure Poppy PTI card stock!!
I used a white tag from my stash...stamped the to and from using a SU stamp and attached it to the card using Twinery Twine in Peapod.
A very simple card...easily cased and great to make in bulk!

Well I hope you like this card!
Thanks for stopping by
and
have a GREAT day!!

Happy Birthday to a Special Person!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!
In continuing with the birthday cards I make every month for the PTO to give to the Teacher at my kiddo's school I have another one to share.
This one is actually made for one of my boy's teachers. I think she is such a fabulous teacher, my son and all the kids in her class love her and they are learning so much!!

What do you think?

For this card I used this beautiful pattern paper that I had won a few months ago and forgot I had!
Unfortunately I do not know who makes it :(
The digi is from Bugaboo Stamps~ Bugaboo Brat Sitting Balloon
I colored her with my copics and paper pieced her hair bow, balloon and shirt with the matching pattern paper.
I also added some stickles to the balloon and her heart on her pants for some bling!
The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam in Goblin Green and Witch's Brew.
It was a perfect match to this paper~ Thanks Julie :)
The sentiment is from Inkadinkado~ All Occasions Stamp set
The flowers were some I received from a swap and I again forgot I had them!
Lastly I used my fiskars border punch to punch the center decorative trim.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Paper Players~ Recipe (3 Pattern Papers, 2 Ribbons, 1 Punch & Glitter)
Paper Sundae's~ Rectangles
Birthday Sundae's~ Anything with Birthday Sentiment
