Boo!.....{PKS Photo/Sketch Challenge 14~13}

Morning everyone!
Welcome to another fun Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge!!!!
Fall is in the air, the leaves are starting to change and it is almost Halloween time!!!
Can not believe how fast September is flying by!
Anyways the 15th of the month is the start of another Color/Photo Inspiration~Sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps!
Here are the 2 pictures....... They are fun ones!!!

For this challenge you can pick either the sketch OR the Photo/Color picture OR combine them both! A little twist to what we were doing with our challenges~ instead of having 2 weeks to enter, you now have a month to enter! So get playing with your PKS and enter to win an AWESOME prize!

So for my card, I used the sketch (kinda) and pulled 4 colors from the color pallet as well as used the spooky tree in the photo as my inspiration to come up with this card....hope you like it!
To make my card, I used the adorable pumpkin from the October 2013 SOTM and colored him using my copic markers. Then using one of the faces from the Pumpkin Faces stamp set, I stamped it onto my pumpkin, added some white gel pen to his eyes and then cut the entire image out.
Seeing that the inspiration picture has that spooky tree on the door, I found some designer paper that had a similar tree and used that to make my "scene". I attached the pumpkin to my card, and added some grass, some Trendy Twine and the sentiment from the newly released Trio of Girl Ghosts stamp set.

A Treat Just for You......{MCT Designers Challenge}

Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time ~Designers Challenge!!!
Today's challenge is to use the photo below for your project...
remember for these challenges, you can use the colors, the picture or a combination of both for your projects as well as MCT stamps and dies.

For my project I used the popcorn as my inspiration and tied in the brown, green and gray colors to make this.....
It's always fun to make little gifts to give and of course decorate up a boring package and that is exactly what I did with a bag of microwave popcorn.
This was very simple to do and can me decorated to fit any occasion. So here is how I make this.
I took a piece of brown card stock and covered the bag of popcorn. Making a large belly band.
Next I tied a big hemp ribbon around the top (this holds the wrapping on as well~ just a little extra reinforcement in case your adhesive comes apart) A few enamel dots to embellish and then I moved on to create the tag.
I used the Just Tags die and cut both layers, one in the green pattern paper and the other in gray card stock. I stamped the sentiment up the side of the tag using the Fright Night Stamp set then put it aside while I stamped, cut and colored my adorable piece of popcorn.
Once his glossy accent eyes were dry, I popped him up onto the tag and attached everything to my project using some Trendy Twine!

Thanks for all you do!..... {MCT Made in Minutes}

Good Morning and Welcome to
My Creative Time's~ Made In Minutes!
This is where the MCT DT shares quick and easy projects using MCT stamps and dies that you can recreate in no time.

I am always looking for Thank You cards, especially for teachers to give during Teacher Appreciation Week. Yes I know that it is a ways away but with the school year just starting here I thought I would create an easy to replicate card to keep in my stash for when the time comes.
Here is my CAS design that you can recreate in a matter of minutes and would be very easy to mass produce. I sure hope you like it......
This is how I made my card.... I started with a kraft card stock base and added a layer of red card stock topped with a die cut white card stock mat. Next I stamped my sentiment using the new Write on Stamp set that was released last month from MCT.  Then using the Love to Learn stamp and die set, I cut out the adorable apple and the corresponding pieces and put it all together to pop up onto my card front.
To finish off my card, I added a small brown hemp bow to the apple.

PKS September New Release Day 2

Hey there everyone!
How about that first day of sneak peeks? Pretty amazing, right? Well we have more!!
Welcome to Day #2 of sneak peeks for the PKS September 2014 Release!
Tonight we are sharing some outstanding creations using four new stamp sets that were originally designed and created to go with various other stamp sets or themes that have been previously released. Each month as Kathy begins her creative process, she takes sketches and ideas from a specific theme and runs with it. There's no way she could possibly include each and EVERY sketch or idea in every release, but some of them are just too darned cute NOT to make the cut at some point.
This is where this release comes in. This evening you will see creations using the
Haunted A2 Background,
Birch Frame Background,
Ballet Bears,
and
Smile Eagle.

For my sneak today I used the new Ballet Bears set and made a very girly tag :)
Hope you like it!
Here is how I made this tag.
 I used the MCT Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers for the for both the tag and mat. I added some ruffles using the Fun Stitched Edges die and then stamped the sentiment onto the bottom of my tag.
The for the adorable ballet bear, I stamped her and cut her out. Next I colored her using my copics as well as paper pieced her dress. For some extra embellishing, I added some Cotton Candy stickles to her shoes, belt and hat as well as to her star wand.
I finished my tag off with a sheer pink ribbon.

Supplies Used:
Peachy Keen Stamps~ Ballet Bear (New Release)

PKS September New Release Day 1

Hey there everyone!!!!

It's sneaky peeky time once again and we are so excited to have you join us tonight and tomorrow night for some crafty fun that will feature images for many special occasions!
Do you ever find yourself beginning to create a birthday card or project and just wish you had a simple "go to" stamp set that you could make great use of? One for any age, boy, girl, man, woman, friends, etc...? I think all of us have found ourselves in that place. In need of a set that we can quickly and easily create something fabulous with, or use those same images to add wonderful details to a more complex creation. Well, look no further, because that's just what we have for you!

Here's a little bit about where inspiration for this month's Stamp of the Month came from in Kathy's words...

Last month, I personally had several milestone birthdays to send cards out for. I found myself wishing I had a simple yet versatile birthday stamp set! I think if I would have had these stamps around I TOTALLY would have used them.
Happy and Healthy Hugs to All!"
:)
Kathy Jakopovich

Along with a super versatile birthday set, this month we have some great add on stamp sets
that will go just beautifully with previously released themes. Tonight we bring you designer creations using
PKSC-33 Stamp of the Month set
PK-1428 Sentiments for September 2014,
 and
PK-1429 and PK-1430, which are the newest faces to PKS.
 The Variety Face Assortment and Variety Faces 1 1/8 inch faces will allow you to add some new peachy cuteness to your creations.

I have 2 cards to share with you tonight, both using the new SOTM set.
For my first card I went CAS and used the adorable birthday present and the sentiment. I stamped everything on kraft cardstock and then stamped the present a second time to color with my copics. I then cut it out and adhered it to the center of my card base. A small red stickled center, the mat popped up on a white card base and this was finished.
Then for my next card I again used the same set~ the September SOTM and came up with this....
I apologize for the not so great picture...I was having a hard time taking this one..maybe because of the papers??? Anyways... for this card I used the one of the balloons from the new set and that awesome new PK face...LOL isn't it adorable?? I stamped everything onto some designer paper and then added some chalk and white gel pen to his face. Next I die cut another strip of designer paper using the sneak peek die from MCT (which also happens to be the card mats for both of my cards) and stamped the sentiment. I layered the balloon onto the card mat, added some randomly placed matching enamel dots and completed my card with a Totally Natural Trendy Twine balloon string.

 PRIZES :: PRIZES :: PRIZES!!!
We will be choosing one lucky winner from all the comments on the PKS Blog, AND Designer Blogs to receive all of the stamp sets being showcased this evening. That gives you one chance to win for each comment you leave! Good luck, and enjoy!!!
ALL winners from sneak peeks and our Release and Reveal Blog Hop will be announced on Monday, September 6th.

Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you tomorrow!
Same time... Same place!!!

Let's Celebrate!...{MCT Tag-it Tuesday}

Good Morning and welcome to
Tag it Tuesday w/My Creative Time!
Today the DT will be sharing  tags following the photo below and using of course all the great My Creative Time! stamps and dies that Miss Emma has to offer.
Here is the tag I made....
I just LOVE how it turned out and hope you do too!
For my tag, I used the colors from the photo as my inspiration. I love the new Tag Die Layers set from this new release and wanted to use it again to make this tag. I know I will be using it ALOT~ it is perfect for those quick tags! Anyways, I cut out the bottom layer using the Tag Die and then the top layer using designer paper. Then using the "celebrate" die that also comes in the set, I die cut that up the side of the tag. For the "let's" sentiment, I used the stamp from the You're Brilliant stamp set and stamped it right above the die cut.
To embellish my tag, I die cut 3 stars using matching pattern paper as well as using papers that had the color combo in them that matched the photo. I popped them up onto my tag and then added some randomly placed enamel dots. Some burlap ribbon for the top held on with a staple and my tag was complete.
