Happiest Wishes On Your Birthday....{MCT Cook N Craft}

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a project for

MCT's Cook -N- Craft, 

its an anything goes post day BUT we also share a favorite recipe.

Fall is my favorite time of year! As the weather cools down, my family moves from cooking on the grill to making yummy soups for dinner.

Today's project is a card using the newest stencil from the recently released Christmas Greetings Kit and one of our FAVORITE winter soups~ Stuffed Pepper Soup

 Lets take a look at my project first!

Birthday cards are always low in my stash so when I saw the new Christmas Greetings Stencil with the mix of snowflakes and polka dots, I knew I wanted to use those for a birthday card.
To make my card, I used just the polka dots and a mix of Tim Holtz distress ink for a fun patterned background of my card. The awesome part of using the stencil, the colors can be coordinating to whatever you want...holiday related...gender related or just themed to match designer paper you use.
I used all ink for this card, matching the present to the background by inking up a scrap piece of paper to die cut the pieces from the Cute Gift Tag Die 
Once the pieces of the present were die cut, I popped
it up onto a circle using the More Stitched Circle Die
Finally, the sentiment on my card comes from the set You Make Life Sweet
A fun and festive birthday card!

Now for my recipe.....
Stuffed Pepper Soup

OMG it is so yummy and perfect for a cold/rainy night like we had last night!
This recipe freezes AMAZING and is even better the next reheated!
I highly recommend trying this if you like stuffed peppers! You will LOVE this!

MCT 68th New Release Sneak Day 2....{Here's the Scoop}

Good Morning and welcome back to

Day 2 of sneaks for the

MCT 68th New Release!!!

Wasn't yesterdays sneaks just AMAZING???

Well today we have another Die set to showcase.

More Scalloped Stitched Ovals

and here is the card I made using that set.....

My sweet card uses several MCT products. Of course the sneak set~ More Scalloped Stitched Ovals was used as a frame for my cutie ice cream cone.
The ice cream set comes for the stamp/die set~ You Make Life Sweet and after cutting all the pieces and assembling it, I inked up the added face that comes with this set, stamped it onto the scoop and added some white gel pen and chalk.
I of course pulled out my favorite die~ The Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the top layer of my card mat and used the More Stitched Edges Die for the ripped look at the bottom.
The sentiment is also from the You Make Life Sweet set and my card was finished off with some random enamel dots.

Emma's Surprise Birthday Hop

For my card I went with making a  CAS (Clean & Simple) birthday card....take a look and let me know what you think!

My card was all designed on a white card base where I stamped my sentiment using the set~ Just a Note. I just LOVE the big sentiment and beautiful font!!
Anyways, next I die cut the fun ice cream cone using the dies from the You Make Life Sweet and designer paper from American Crafts.
The ice cream cone was popped up onto the front of my card with some foam pop dots and my card was then embellished with some enamel dots.
A sweet card for a super sweet lady!!!!

Here is a closeup of my 1st project using the new Mini Stitched Lollipop Die

How adorable is that little pumpkin! I used the mini die from the All Around Holiday's set and added the cutie face from the You Make Life Sweet set. I added him then onto a small stitched circle die which fit perfectly into the center of the new scallop for the lollipop die.
Everything was then popped up onto the front of the lollipop die but after I threaded some ribbon through the front to hold the lollipop in place. A simple bow tied the whole project together along with my matching sentiment.

Here is my 2nd project using the Stitched Lollipop Holder Die

This is still one of my favorite dies from Miss Emma!!!! The possibilities are endless when it comes to decorating these!! And now with the new mini one, I can see using these alot for the upcoming holiday season!
I used the new Spooky Time stamp and die set for this lollipop holder. Such a fun skull die cut and matching sentiment makes for a cute treat!

Got Candy?....{MCT Tag it Tuesday}

Good Morning everyone!!

It's Tag It Tuesday and I am sharing a sweet Halloween tag using the newest release Stamp/Die set~ Candy Corn Kisses

How adorable is that candy corn right??? 
To make my tag, I used the Just Tags die and some fun Doodlebug designs designer paper. 
Once I stamped and die cut the candy corn, I colored him using my copic markers. For some added cuteness, I stamped a face onto him using the You Make Life Sweet set.
My candy corn was then popped up onto the tag using some foam.
The sentiment, also from the new Candy Corn Kisses set, was stamped onto a tag die from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies set.
Some added homemade enamel dots using the new Nuvo crystal drops completed my tag.
For the gift bag, I used a small candy sack from Trendy Twine. I made an insert that slides into the bag and instead of having just a straight front panel on my insert, I used the More Stitched Edges Die.
The bag was filled with some candy corn and filler paper and then my tag was attached using a matching orange clothes pin.
