MCT 74th New Release Sneak Peek Day.... {Chill Out}

 Hello My Creative Friends!

This week is going to be a little different from our “normal” release week! We will be sneak peeking a new set, but not until Thursday!

Monday - Wednesday this week we are all showcasing OVERSTOCK products that will be offered at a discount price starting this Friday, December 15, 2017 at 8am PST! We are making room for the new year & I thought it would be nice to showcase the sets that we are marking down Mon-Wed so this can give you time to check YOUR inventory to see if you have it or not! This way on Friday, you will know exactly what you want OR what has been on your wish list!

Today we are showcasing the newest set for this release..........

How adorable is that snowgirl????
To make my card, I used the snowgirl, sentiment and heart die cuts from the new set Chill Out.
The snowflakes are from the Winter Flake Dies and popped up onto the front of my card.
I used the More Stitched Edges Die for my snowhill which also was a perfect spot for my sentiment.
The snowgirl was colored with my prismacolor pencils and also popped up onto the front of my card.
I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the card mat, and layered it onto a piece of white cardstock and my kraft card base.

For my project, I get to showcase the new

Pocketful of Holidays & Pocketful of Holiday Sentiments

here is the card I made using those sets......

It is hard to think about snow and winter when we are going to have an unseasonably warm weekend but I just love this cutie snowman!

I again played around with paper piecing and the beautiful I Love Winter paper pack from Echo Park.

I die cut the pocket and the snowman using the new Pocketful of Holidays set. The snowman in white cardstock and the pocket in designer paper. After paper piecing the snowman, I popped him up onto the pocket and placed that whole piece aside to work on the card.

For the card, I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die the top layer. I did that 2 times so I could use a coordinating piece of designer paper for the under layer. To see the under layer, I used the More Stitched Edges Die.

The sentiment was then stamped onto the card front, the snowman and pocket adhered as well with some foam to pop them up.

For the finishing touches, I added some snowflake die cuts using the Winter Flake Dies and some Nuvo enamel dots.

Now for the entire release.....
