To a Great Friend.....{MCT Made in Minutes}

If you are new to my blog MIM is where we create something that could be created quickly or mass produced.

Since we just had an AWESOME new release last week, I used 2 of the new dies that we showcased, the Treat Pouch Die and the Small Treat Labels

and here is the project I made with them....

I am totally in love with this new Treat Pouch Die. Not only is it such an adorable size and perfect to add a few little treats, but it is SO easy to put together, making this a perfect product for our Made in Minutes post.
I used some scrap cardstock for the box and then added a pretty matching pink ribbon around the center. Not only does it add extra decoration, but helps to keep all your goodies inside incase you over stuff them like I like to do..LOL!
Then for the sentiment, I used the Fall Friends set and stamped my greeting onto the label die. A quick added layer in pink with the coordinating die, some foam to pop up my sentiment and my project was complete!
I think from start to finish this took maybe 5 minutes to make. I spent more time looking through all my sentiments!

Happy Thanksgiving w/Trendy Twine

Good Morning Everyone! 

It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine Blog and I am excited to be able to share another project with you all using my featured twine color of the month~

Totally Chocolate along with the adorable 2x2 Kraft Boxes

Can you believe that it is almost Thanksgiving?? I thought I would make a project that can work for the dinner table. These 2X2 Kraft Boxes can be filled with candy and be a fun treat for your guests to take home with them.

To make my project, I started with a 2X2 Kraft Box and covered it with some beautiful designer paper from Recollections~Harvest Collections paper pack. Next using one of the panels (before it was attached to the box) I die cut a leaf using My Creative Time's A Thankful Heart set. I filled the leaf with the Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine then attached it to the box front.

I wanted to add a simple tag as well to by box, so I grabbed a Fun Stitched Tag Die , stamped my sentiment from the Fall Friends set and attached it all to the top of my box with more Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine.

Autumn Wishes.....Trendy Twine

Good Morning Everyone!

It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine Blog!!!

A new month of spotlighted products from Trendy Twine has the DT showcasing the gorgeous new Fall Twine Colors. 

Today I am sharing a Fall inspired project using my featured twine color of the month~

Totally Chocolate along with the adorable 2x2 Kraft Boxes

To make my project, I used a 2x2 Kraft Box and instead of closing it up, I left the opening flap up and covered it with some beautiful fall pattern paper from Lawn Fawn~Sweater Weather. Next I wrapped some Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine around the box and added an adorable stamped image from My Creative Time colored with my copics. A fun banner sentiment onto the top and this box is ready to be filled with just about anything!

Of course I had to fill it with some Fall colored M&M's using the Candy Sack from Trendy Twine! Those bags hold a ton of treats!!! To close it up, I punched 2 holes onto the folded over top and then threaded some more Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine through to make a bow.

Here is what the candy bag looks like inside my project. A PERFECT fit!! And now ready to give :)

Good Morning and Welcome to 

Tag it Tuesday with My Creative Time!!!

It is back to school time for my boys and the start of one of my favorite seasons of the year...Fall!! Pumpkins, apples, the fall leaves changing color and Halloween!!!

For my project today, I made a fall inspired treat filled with some chocolates :)

I used the Fun Stitched Tag Dies for my tag base and punched a hole in the top to add an eyelet and a pear pin. I stamped my sentiment using the new Fall Friends stamp set and added a sweet pumpkin mini die cut from the All Around Holiday's set.

MCT 46th New Release Reveal & Blog Hop!!

For my card today, I get to showcase the new set~ 

Fall Friends!

I used the Stitched Squares Inside and Out (new release) to make a square shaker card, this one unlike yesterday's mini cards seen HERE is a 4x4 size. I used the sweet pumpkin, leaves and acorn stamps and dies from the Fall Friends as the focal images for my card. Once I got the base of my card die cut out and all the layers assembled, I filled the center square with some orange, green and brown sequins..the color scheme for my fall card.

Next I die cut the pumpkin stamp and one of the acorns and colored them using my copic markers. They were then both popped up onto the front of my card using some foam adhesive.

Here is the close-up of the leaves and acorns placed in the top corner of my card. I die cut and colored these with my copic markers and embellished with a small hemp twine bow. Some random sequins on the card front and my fall card was completed.

MCT 46th New Release Sneak Day 3~ Freshly Made Sketches #19

Morning everyone and welcome to Day  3 of sneaks for the 

My Creative Time 46th New Release!!

It has been such a GREAT few days of sneaks so far and we still have a few more ADORABLE sets to sneak!

Today the DT is showcasing the new stamp and die set~

another totally ADORABLE set!

For my card today, I played along with the Freshly Made Sketches 200th Sketch challenge which our AWESOME Miss Emma is sponsoring. I used the below sketch and designed my card around the sentiment "Nuts about You" from the new Fall Friends stamp and die set. I started my CAS card off by stamping the Grainy Wood Background stamp onto some kraft cardstock. Next I stamped my sentiment from the Fall Friends stamp set and die cut the "U" using the Uppercase Fun Dies. I used the "U" as a "somewhat fork" in a tree and added some of the fun new acorn and leaves, again from the Fall Friends stamp and die set. Colored with my copics and popped up with some foam dots for added dimension finished off my card.
