MCT 5 Days of Christmas....Day 5 {Anything Goes}

 Hello & welcome to our 

"5" Days of Christmas"! 
This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your creative juices flowing for the holiday!

Today is DAY 5 of our 5 Days of Christmas!  
Such a fun week of Christmas projects, creative ideas for those last minute gifts and easy projects using all of our favorite MCT stamps and dies!!

Today, being the last day is ANYTHING GOES and I have another fun treat idea to share.

For todays project I made this adorable reindeer candy cane treat.

To make it, I started with a kraft circle die cut using the 3X3 Circle Card Die for the base of my reindeer.

Next using the Reindeer Lollipop Holder Die I used the face pieces and antlers to attach to my reindeer circle. For the nose I did use the Santa Hat Topper set (only the circle for the red nose)

Finally I die cut a red bow using the Fun Size Holiday Bow set and attached it to the reindeer face.

For the sentiment, I used the Teeny Tag Die and the saying from the Teeny Tag Holiday set to attach to the top of a candy cane with some red twine.

I taped the candy canes together and added the reindeer face with some strong double sided tape.

I also die cut another circle to add to the back so you didnt see the taped candy canes :)

Some white gel pen doddles completed my adorable little treat!

Today is our 1st day of our 5 Days of Christmas!  
We all will be showcasing some quick & EASY Tags!

I apologize that everything used ON my tag is currently unavailable or out of stock on the MCT website :( I didnt realize when I made my tag that others will not be able to purchase some of the items used. SO SORRY!!!!**

For my tag I used the 3X3 Circle Card Dies to make a tag/card.

I die cut the circle card and then layered the top with some plaid designer paper.

For the sentiment, I used the newly released PROMO die that was given to the first 100 shoppers for the 115th New Release that is unfortunately not available in the store anymore.

I die cut the sentiment with red and black cardstock and popped it up onto the front of the tag.

For the cute little Christmas tree I used the Mini Lolly Add Ons set and stamped and die cut it using some matching green designer paper.

I popped up the sentiment and the tree onto the front of the tag and added some white gel pen for some extra dimension.

A hole in the top of the card to put my twine through and my tag is ready for a Christmas gift!

MCT 114th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop!!

For my inspiration I get to showcase the new sets

~ Cute Turkey Die

~ Fall Leaf Dies

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think..

For my project today I made a cute topped using the new 3x3 Circle Card Dies for the base, die cut in kraft and a pretty fall designer paper.

Next I used the adorable Cute Turkey Die, cutting each of the pieces in the matching designer paper and inking the edges for some added dimension. 

I also die cut 2 of the new Fall Leaf Dies and inked the edges as well.

I layered the leaves onto the circle base and then popped up the cute turkey die into the center.

For the sentiment, I used the new Holiday Banner Sentiment stamped onto the smallest of the Layered Banner Dies.

I finished off my project by adding a candy to a small bag and attaching the topper to the top.

A sweet treat to celebrate the fall.

MCT 114th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the 

114th New Release from My Creative Time!

Today we are showcasing 2 new die sets. 

Introducing the new

 3x3 Circle Card Dies 

&

Ho Ho Ho #3

For todays project I kept it on the simple side and turned the 3X3 Circle Card Die into a holiday tag. I die cut the circle card in kraft cardstock and then added a layer of designer paper onto the top of the card base.

Using the new Ho Ho Ho #3 die, I cut that in black cardstock to layer onto the top of the circle card die. I did add some color to the die by using some stickles on the tree and the stars as well as adding some white gel pen dots to the lettering.

I finished off the tag with a hole punched into the top and some kraft twine tied through the hole.

A fun and quick way to dress up a gift bag and still have the ability to add a holiday greeting inside.
