Christmas In July... PKS July New Release Sneak #1

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
No, no, no… NOT outside, but at Peachy Keen Stamps it’s looking a whole lot like Christmas!!

Welcome to our annual Christmas in July Release!
Here we are celebrating Christmas in the midst of Summer and 4th of July celebrations!  This is a much anticipated event for us, and tonight we kick off our sneak peeks by showcasing five adorable stamps sets that will have you excited and ready to get started on your 2014 holiday projects.   You DO know there are only 174 days left until Christmas don’t you?   Take a break from the Summer heat and grab something cool to drink and join us as we share projects made with:
PKSC-31 July 2014
PK-1410 Christmas In July Faces (Assortment and 1 1/8″ sizes),
PK-1412 Snow Hugs Snowman
and
PK-1413 SMILE Snowman.

I have 2 cards to share for tonight...so lets get started!
Isn't this snowman adorable??? I just LOVE Kathy's drawings!!
I did a bunch of paper piecing with this guy, for his hat, scarf and mittens and then added some stickles to the fluffy parts :)
Keeping my card simple, I used a pattern paper for the background and then added some randomly placed snowflake dies (stickled up of course) to the background. Using the sentiment from the stamp set, I added it to the center of another snowflake die...popping it up for some more dimension.
Here is a side view of that adorable snowman!!!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Used:

Other Products Used:
My Minds Eye~Merry Little Christmas paper pad
Enamel Dots, Stickles, pop dots
copic markers, chalk, white gel pen
sewing machine

And then for my next card....
I am not so sure I like the LO of this one. I had something pictured in my mind and it didn't turn out as I thought :( Maybe is it that background paper.
BUT I LOVE those singing elves!!!!
I colored them both using my well used copic markers.... I need to get a few of them refilled
(doesn't that always seem the case...have a project to do and then your markers run out...couldn't go to the store at 11pm either..oh well)
To add some more to the images, I used my white gel pen and some chalk for the face as well as some random doodles.
Some silver stickles to match the silver jingle bells, some Trendy Twine and the sentiment placed behind a punched out window and my card was completed.
Another side view of the CUTE elves!
