~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Onto my project....
I found this fun project on Pinterest with the original post HERE
and wanted to make these for my son to hand out to his class and teachers.
They were so easy to put together and look super adorable all completed.
I did use exactly the same treats from the original post but made my own tags to attach.
I ended up making 17 of them so far and might be making some more depending on how many more he wants to hand out :)
Here is a close-up of the tag. I used Kraft cardstock with an embossed pattern on it (love the texture~Just had to say) and cut the shape out using my Cameo. The shamrocks are from My Creative Time~You're My Pot Of Gold set. After I die cut them all out I added a layer of Lime Green Stickles and let the all dry. They started to curl up a bit but I liked the dimension it gave when I glued them to the tag so I ended up only gluing the stem and center.
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom~Lucky Treats stamp set and I stamped it using Stazon Black ink for a sharp, bold look :)
Finally after adding some green eyelets to all the tags to they wouldn't pull or rip I tied them all with the gorgeous Goblin Green crinkle ribbon from 3GJ's Spooky Bundle. I think I have said this before...but that bundle has got to be my favorite!!!
So there it is....
What do you think???
I sure hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with us over at the
3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog!
