Whatever Wednesday.....{My Creative Time}

Good Morning and welcome to
My Creative Time's~Whatever Wednesday.
This is the DT's day where we can create whatever we want, a card, LO, 3D or altered item using MCT stamps and dies!

For my project I used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch
to make a birthday card/gift card holder using LOTS of MCT stamps and dies! Oh yeah...It is also another 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card :)
I started my card with a Kraft Card stock base and added my layers if designer paper~all from My Minds Eye~Dolled Up paper pack.
Then for the long list of My Creative Time dies that I used..
~The Flower Petal Dies  and the Stitched Leaves Die with an enamel dot in the center
~The Tag Die which I cut down to fit my card and then stamped it with the sentiment from Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments and embellished with more enamel dots
~Vintage Label Die again stamped with a sentiment from the Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments

Then for the inside I added...
a Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die and stamped the dollar sign using again the Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments

So what do you think?????
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Wednesday!!!!

Laid Any Good Eggs Lately???.....{PKS March New Release Sneak Day 4}

Hey Chickies!!!!

We've made it to our fourth and final day of sneak peeks this month and we hope that you've enjoyed the creations our talented team members have brought to you.  We are SO excited to share the entire release with you that we can hardly wait for reveal time tomorrow!!  We’ll be back here with a SUPER inspirational blog hop and the new stamps will be revealed on our blog and available for purchase in the Peachy Keen Stamps Store.  The new stamps will go live at 6 p.m. CST.. Same time as our blog hop.

Our first release for this month is a little smaller than usual, but don’t worry, because Kathy’s planning a mid-month release, so be looking for MORE new stamps a little later in the month.  Tonight, we’re having an Anything Goes night, which means our team  can choose ANY of the stamps from this release they’d like to share.  Be sure to check the PKS Blog for ALL the great samples from tonight’s team.

For my sneak tonight, I just had to use the Faceless Chickens and Chickie Faces again... I just LOVE them!!!!!
Here is the shaker card I made :)
So adorable right????
I used the sketch from the current Fusion Card Challenge
and designer paper from Carta Bella~Giddy Up. For the shaker part of my card, I used the XL Label Die from My Creative Time and stamped the background using the Spring Chicken Background stamp set. I filled the shaker with some silver sequins and a few die cut eggs from the new Hello Chickie! Stamp set
This adorable chickie was then colored using my copics and I did add a bit of the white gel pen for some extra pop. She was then popped up onto my card with some foam pop dots.
Finally the sentiment, which is also from the Faceless Chickens stamp set, was inked and stamped using my Versafine Onxy Black ink.
I am just in LOVE with this card and sure hope you like it too!!!

This winds it up for sneak peeks… everything EXCEPT a prize for tonight, that is!!
Leave a comment on the PKS Blog, and on each designer’s blog for a chance to win the new Chickie Faces Face Assortment stamp set!!  We’ll select 1 random winner from all the comments to win and that winner will be announced in the PKS Blog Hop post tomorrow!!  Good luck and thanks for stopping by!!

Smile.....{Seize The Sketch #15}

Good Morning Everyone!
It is time for another Seize The Sketch Challenge.

Here is the new challenge sketch.....
Hosted this week by the very talented Cathy

And here is the card I made based on the sketch!
I have not colored an image in such a long time and have forgotten how relaxing it is :)
I used the adorable Pinwheel Birgitta stamp from C.C. Designs and colored her with my copics.
Following the sketch, I pulled papers for my card from Fancy Pants~Memories Captured paper pack.
For the grass, I used the new My Creative Time~Stitched Grass Die....LOVE this die BTW and the sentiment comes from My Creative Time~Things I Love... stamp set.
I stamped it on a die cut also from My Creative Time~ Chunky Jar Accessory Set .
A few enamel dots next to the sentiment and my card is complete.

So what do you think???
I hope you like my card and will play along with the new challenge!
Make sure to head on over to the Seize The Sketch blog to see what the other DT members created with this sketch and for all the details on how you can play along.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!

Good Luck........{Trendy Twine}

Good Morning Trendy Twiners!!!!

This month the Trendy Twine DT is spotlighting two of our green twines:
Limeade which is a bright green twisted with white
and
Totally Limeade which is a solid bright green.
Both of these are AWESOME and perfect for all your St. Patty's Day projects and/or those fun Spring inspired projects!

I have another CAS card to share today based on the current Trendy Twine Challenge.

The Challenge......
Good Luck with Trendy Twine
and must include the following....
~ Sentiment "good luck" or "best wishes"
~ The color green
~Trendy Twine**

**If you do not have Trendy Twine, use hemp, jute,
embroidery thread, or yarn only; NO ribbon
(no other brands of bakers twine)**

Deadline is 11:59 p.m. central time, Friday, March 28th.

Project must be new for the challenge.

St. Patrick's Day is going to be a fun day for me....I am coordinating the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and we are having a St. Patty's Day party (minus the green beer...LOL)
I usually make a thank you treat for the teacher's to walk out with but this year, since we were looking for something else fun to do, we are giving each of the teacher's a scratch off ticket.... so I am making 65 more of these cards to put the ticket in.
Like I said above, since I am making so many of these cards, I went with a CAS design, one that can be massed produced.
I used a Bazzill Black card base cut to a 4x4 card size.
The sentiment is one I had in my stash....believing it is from Studio G (?) and I heat embossed it using some White Deliquesce embossing powder.
The adorable clover is a freebie that I picked up over at Paper Smooches and using my Silhouette Designer Studio I filled the image with some digital paper from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon.
Once the image was colored in, I printed all of them out and punched them all using my 2" circle punch.
Finally to finish my card off, I cut 2 slots, one on the top of my card and one on the bottom and wrapped the Totally Limeade Trendy Twine around the card front.
Those slots will  help to hold the twine in place eliminating the need to tape it down, plus I think it looks neat when you open the card and see a bit more color on the inside flap.

Here are the 2 spotlighted colors this month!
Make sure to pick them up..they are on sale all month long!!

What up Chickie???.... {PKS March New Release Sneak Day 2}

Hey there everyone!!!
Well, here we are at Day #2 of March sneak peeks… WELCOME!!

This is the time we look forward to ALL MONTH LONG!  It’s so exciting  for us when we can FINALLY share the new stamps with all of our friends!!

If you weren’t able to join us last night for the first round of sneak peeks, then you missed your chance to win the FIRST set we showcased, but NEVER FEAR!   Tonight could just be YOUR night!!  Stick around!  More opportunities to win await!

Springtime brings so many great images to mind, and one that immediately pops into most of our minds is chickens!!  Oh YES!  Cute, feathery, adorable little chickens  and that’s just what we have to share with you this evening!

Let us introduce you to Chickie Faces and Faceless Chickens!!

Can you believe it.....I think Kathy made these just for me....LOL!

Just kidding... but you all had to know I flipped when I saw theses adorable Chickies and CUTE faces!!!!

Here is the card I made using today's sets.....
I used designer paper from MME~ Sunshine for my card and followed the sketch from The Kraft Journal. I paper pieced the too cute Chickie and added some chalk to her cheeks. Aren't those eyes just adorable?????
The sentiment, which is also part of the Faceless Chicken stamp set was die cut out using My Creative Time's~Stitched Square Speech Bubbles. After placing my chickie on a die cut circle, I added 2 eyelets to either side and slipped some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around through the back so I could tie is on the side in a bow. But before doing all that, I did add some machine stitching to the border.

SO, how would you like the chance to  win some of these CUTE stamps?

To express our thanks to those of you who have joined us for sneak peeks tonight, we will give one lucky commenter the Faceless Chickens and Chickie Faces 1 1/8″ stamps.

The winner will be randomly drawn from the comments on the  PKS Blog and ALL of our designer’s blogs and that lucky person will be revealed on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog tomorrow night at 6 p.m.  PLEASE BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR EMAIL OR CONTACT INFO in case YOU are the lucky winner!!

Good luck to you!

Thanks for stopping by and if you haven’t already, be sure to visit the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog to see what the rest of the team has created!

Have a GREAT night!!

Here is the card I made using one of the adorable images from the new set.
I went CAS with this card because...well this image is just so perfect sitting front and center.....don't you think????
My card is a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 base layered with the 4x4 Journal Die from My Creative Time. I told you this was my new favorite card shape :)
Then using the adorable wedding car, matching sentiment and the wedding cans, all from the March New Release Stamp Set of the Month, I colored it using my copic markers.
To add some extra elements to my card, I used some red and silver stickles for the hearts and cans. I also added a tiny bow of Peppermint Trendy Twine

PKS Sketch Challenge{14~03} & Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge

Morning everyone!
~if you are looking for the My Creative Time 30th New Release Blog Hop post please click HERE~

It is time again for a new Peachy Keen Stamps challenge
and I am also pretty excited because Peachy Keen Stamps is also sponsoring the new Curtain Challenge Inspiration Challenge this month.

I was able to play with both the new sketch as well as tie it in with the Photo Inspiration

to make this sweet birthday card.
My inspiration for my card came by combining the sketch and using the peach color, my Peachy Keen Stamps and the flowers from the photo. I think this would make a cute birthday card for any tea lover. Plus the photo makes me think of a beautiful spring day, sitting on the porch, smelling the fresh flowers and enjoying a cup of tea..which I love BTW.
Not only do I just LOVE the January SOTM set (one of my favorites I think) but the face on this adorable tea pot is just the cutest!!!

Supplies Used:
Paper~My Minds Eye~Market
Kraft Card stock
Stamps~Peachy Keen Stamps~January SOTM
Dies~ My Creative Time~Tag Dies
Embellishments~ 3GJ~ Summer Sprinkles Crinkle Ribbon
enamel dots, flowers, pop dots
white gel pen

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with the new challenge!!
You can find out all the details by heading over to the Peachy Keen Blog as well as see the inspiration from the other DT members!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!
