MCT 85th New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the 85th New Release from My Creative Time! We have one more day of sneaks before tomorrow's BIG reveal and blog hop. Today the DT is showcasing another perfect holiday stamp set... introducing Christmas Wishes and here is the Christmas Gift card I made using this set...
I tried really hard to get a decent picture of my project but the glare from the gold sparkle designer paper made it kinda hard. I am sorry for that.
Anyways I used the new Pretty Gift Card Holder Die and some pretty sparkly black and gold designer paper for the gift card base. The sentiment, from the new Christmas Wishes set was stamped onto the label die and then popped up onto the front of the gift card holder.
For some extra embellishing and sparkle, I added an ornament from the Fun Stitched Ornaments & More set.
A simple gold bow on the ornament completed my project.

Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
 85th New Release from My Creative Time!
Today the DT is showcasing another adorable stamp/die set~
Cute Mugs
take a look at the card I made using this set...
Puppy and Kitty lovers are going to flip over this set!!
To make my card, I used the adorable new puppy image and colored him up using my copic markers.
I found this CUTE paper pad from Michaels called Christmas Pets to use as my background paper for the card mat. The designer paper was cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die and layered onto a kraft cardstock base.
To make the focal point, I used the Scalloped Stitched Square Die and popped up the colored pup onto the front of the card.
The sentiment, also from the new Cute Mugs set was stamped onto the oval die from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Die.
To finish off my card, I added some colored paw prints..those cuties are also included in the new set!!

So what do you think?? Hoping you like my inspiration for today!!!

MCT 85th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning and welcome to SNEAK week for the
85th New Release from My Creative Time!
Holiday time is in the air and this release is packed with new stamps and dies to get you ready for all those cards and gifts to give.
Today we are showcasing some adorable new stamps and dies, introducing the
Santa Stamps & Pretty Gift Card Holder Die I have 2 projects to share using these new sets. Take a look and let me know what you think....
Gift cards are the easiest way to show someone you care and decorating up a gift card adds just that extra touch of love. The new Pretty Gift Card Holder Die is sure to be the go to this holiday season! Paired with the adorable new sentiments from the Santa Stamps set, you are sure to wow those holiday gifts!
Lets take a closer look at each project.
 Easy projects are a must have for the busy holiday season and this gift card holder die is sure to help with that! Decorating it on the other hand might slow you down since the possibilities are endless with this die :)
To make my project, I die cut the gift card holder in some pretty blue designer paper from Lawn Fawn. I knew I was adding the snowman to this project using 2 older sets, Winter Snowman Dies & You're So Cool so matching up the pattern on the hat, scarf and gloves was the easy part.
That adorable sentiment fits perfectly on the new die cut label also included with the gift card holder.
An oh so cute way to give a gift!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My next project uses the new Santa Stamps set and this treat would be perfect for those co workers, teacher gifts, postal service members or neighbors.
Another quick and easy project!
To make this, I used the Pretty Treat Topper die which I added to a small treat bag filled with Hershey Kisses~ cute santa ones I found at my local Walmart.
The sentiment, from the new Santa Stamps set, was stamped onto the top layer of the treat topper after filling my bag. I did also add the "ho ho ho" sentiment from the same set onto a Ribbon End Banner, attaching it to the bag liner I made to fit inside.
I finished both sentiment spots off with adding some small polka dots from the Holiday Tags set~ kinda looks like Santa's suit right??
So there are my projects showcasing todays sets! I hope you love them!!
Don't forget about the...
Wishing you the BEST Birthday ever!....{MCT Birthday Palooza}
Good Morning friends and welcome back to my blog for another
Birthday Palooza with My Creative Time!
Today we are showcasing birthday projects using of course MCT stamps and dies!
For my project today, I pulled out some watercolors for a CAS birthday card.
Take a look and let me know what you think....
It has been a while since I played with my Zig watercolor markers and I always say I really need to use them more often, I love how easy they are to color with.
Anyways to make my card, I used a piece of watercolor cardstock and die cut it with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Then using the balloons from the Stitched Circle Balloon Die set, I made a stencil with some acetate.
Using that stencil, I colored in the balloons using my watercolor markers. I wasn't happy with the initial card but once I filled in some of the missing color and highlights I love the way the balloons look.
The sentiment, from the Wow So Many Candles set was stamped directly onto the dried watercolor cardstock and then the whole card mat was popped up onto the front of a kraft cardstock base.
To finish off my card, I added some small sequins to each of the balloons.
So what do you think of my birthday card? Remember using MCT dies is a great way to make your own stencils for coloring or stamping!!
 I appreciate you taking the time to stop by today! Make sure to check out the rest of the inspiration over on the MCT blog!
Have a GREAT Thursday everyone!!!
And here is my inspiration using this adorable new stamp and die set....
I made 2 projects using the adorable new Christmas tree die~ a card and a gift tag. Both projects also have 2 of the new stamps included in this set! Lets take a closer look at both projects
Here is my CAS card I made using the Christmas tree as the focal point of the card.
I got extra inky with my project, using distress ink for both the tree and all the pieces as well as the background blue sky.
To make the tree, I die cut my inked cardstock and then added the star which is from the set Date Night
The star is a perfect fit to lay over the tag top! For some extra sparkle, I did color it in with my Wink of Stella pen.
For the background, I inked up my cardstock again with some distress ink, splattered some clear wink of stella on it and then overlaid the whole piece with a white cardstock topper die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame die as well as the circle from the Scalloped Stitched Circles.
The sentiment was stamped onto the white cardstock using the new Just a Little Something set and I further embellished with some clear sequins.
For my holiday candy stick, I used the same inking technique for the tree and star topper, this time using my hole punch to cut out the circle to attach to my skinny candy bag.
The sentiment, to and from, is also from the new Just a Little Something set and was stamped right onto the tag.
I filled my candy stick with some M&M's, attached the tag to my bag with some trendy twine and this yummy treat is ready to give!
Gobble Gobble......{MCT Throwback Thursday}
Good Morning friends!
Today I am sharing a project for My Creative Time's
Throwback Thursday. This is where we use an older stamp/die set to make a project :)
Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought I would make a cute turkey tag using the older set Gobble Gobble
Take a look at my tag and let me know what you think...
Isn't that turkey so adorable?? I love him colored in with my copics!
To make my project, I started with the Super Tag Dies and actually made my tag so a message can be added inside as well.
I layered the tag with some brown scrap polka dot paper and then popped my colored turkey onto the front.
For the sentiment, I used the Ribbon End Banners, trimming the banner down so it fit onto my tag and stamped the sentiment onto the banner. The sentiment was added right under the turkey filling up the tag nicely.
To finish off my tag, I added some Kraft Trendy Twine and this project is ready to be given to that special "turkey" LOL!
Actually it would look adorable tied around a napkin as a place setting for Thanksgiving Dinner!
 I appreciate you taking the time to stop by today! Make sure to check out the rest of the inspiration over on the MCT blog!
Have a GREAT Thursday everyone!!!
