You're Pawfect w/TAWS

Morning!!

Time for TAWS DT project

and today I am sharing another card using the kitty from the new release...

Sittin Pretty and the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

CAS my favorite design!
I stamped my images and then stamped both the kitty and the ball a second time~ the kitty on designer paper from Doodlebug Designs~Boys Only and the yarn on white card stock.
After cutting out the kitty I attached him onto my card base.
Using some Trendy Twine in Stormy 

And made it look like it is coming off the ball of yarn...love the added texture it gives the card.

Hi everyone!!

This is my second post for today~ I am on a roll...LOL

I know it is kinda late for me to be posting again but I started this card this afternoon and then left for the night to attend my son's chorus concert. They are all so adorable up on stage singing away but let me tell you he was thrilled the day was over. He had to go to school all dressed up~ shirt, tie and dress pants and he is such a sweat pants kinda kid....LOL. Poor guy! He can hang the tie up until the next concert which will also be his first band concert~ Yup he just found out he made the band...super proud of him!!

Anyways I was able to get back, get the kids tucked in and finish my card to enter into a few challenges.

Using this week's Peachy Keen Stamps sketch

I came up with this....

A humorous kind of Valentine's Day card!

So I have this little problem but for this card it actually came in handy...ready...

I save EVERY piece of scrap paper...Yikes can you image the amount I have???

I have started to take the scraps and place them inside my Ziploc bag with the paper packs instead of in the big plastic tote I was used to using. Who would have known that this was so much easier of a solution to storing my scraps with the paper packs...LOL! 

I still do have plastic bins for my card stock and misc designer papers but clearly this is a better way..at least for me to store my papers...

So for this card I used all the papers from My Minds Eye~ The Station  paper pack and Kraft card stock for the base.

The adorable sentiment as well as the bread stamps are from PK~127 Sandwich Fun and the cute cute faces are from PK~294 The Cornies. I did add some pink chalk and white gel pen doodles to their cheeks and teeth.

Here is a side view...as you can see I popped the sentiment up using foam pop dots

and finished the inside of the card as well :)

Here is the other side view. I used my sewing machine around all the mats~don't you just love the added texture it gives??Finally I added some natural hemp twine that was in my stash~ probably from a package or gift I received...another one of my problems....I save it all.

You never know when you might need something like that...right??

 So there you have it.

Instead of having a new challenge posted every week, we are going to have 2 challenges a month  and each challenge will remain open for 2 weeks. This weeks Challenge~

Inspired By: Favorite Stamp
For my card I used the sketch from this week's
Seize the Birthday

and the color combo from the new
Pinspired Challenge

and of course one of my favorite stamps from
Bugaboo Stamps

And came up with this....

I used the adorable BBrat girl  balloon sitter and coloring her with my copic.
No fancy coloring...just CAS

I did add some Creative Inspirations Paint~ Angel Dust to the balloon which is popped up with foam dots

I also added some Resplendence Angel dust for alittle more shimmer and sparkle

 For my sentiment~ I used chipboard letters that were painted using Creative Inspirations Paint~ Rose Quartz.
One of my favorite uses with these paints are painting on chipboard....as you can kinda see in the picture, the shimmer that these paints give is awesome!

So that is my birthday card....
I am sure there is a little girl that will LOVE this
(not sure I can pass this off on my boys...LOL!!)

TAWS~ I'm Nuts and Bolts About You

Morning!!

It is my DT day over at The Alley Way Stamps and 

I am here to share another Valentine's Day card using the new stamp set~ 

Lighter Than Air

I have already shared a card using the adorable light bulb so I thought I would make something using the cute nuts and bolts...more of a manly man card but still all lovey lovey....LOL!

I hope you like it!!

I used TAWS sentiment and stamped it on the outside of a mini bitty bag from

My Craft Spot

That cute heart die is from My Creative Time and to attach it to my card I ran a line of stitching through the heart as well as added some stitching to the outside.

And here is the cute tag that fits into the bitty bag.

It is a newbie die for me from PTI...I have been eyeing this Tag Die forever and finally bought it as a gift to me from me :)

I stamped it a number of times using the nuts and bolts from the stamp set and then colored them in using my copic.

I added some 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in white from the seasonal Red/White/Blue bundle and tied a bow using some Midnight Trendy Twine!
