3 Girl Jam Challenge #10~ It's A Party!!

Onto my project...it is pretty photo heavy so bear with me :)
I made a Valentine's Day Bingo game set for my son's Valentine's Day classroom party using my new stamps from Jaded Blossom, handmade crinkle ribbon from the BEST place ever~3 Girl Jam
and my LOVE the Cameo...
Hope you like it!!

Here is the whole set..all packaged up and ready to go to class...

inside is 8 games boards and all the call chips to get this game started.

I figured I would take in candy that the kids can use as markers on the board and then when the games are done they can eat their candy...because all kids LOVE their candy...LOL!

Here is a close-up of the gorgeous ribbon! I used 3 Girl Jam~Cherry Lipstick from the Pink and White Bundle and glued it down to cardstock...then running the cardstock through my cuttlebug using My Creative Time's Heart die.

I hot glued it to a clothes pin from The Kraft Journal

but before I did that I ran it through my crimper to give it some additional texture!

Added a button from my stash and some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Lift Boutique and clipped it to my Hot Chocolate ribbon, again from 3 Girl Jam

Onto the inside....Here is what it looks like.

 I used Lori Whitlock's 5.5 Box and some size altering in my Silhouette Studio to make the bingo board box..I added an addition piece of Kraft card stock to separate my boards from the calling pieces...that way everything had a spot and things didn't get mixed up.

Here is what 1/8 of the boards look like. Using my new stamps from Jaded Blossom's January release~Valentine Candies, Conversation Candies as well as 

Babies & Weddings I stamped different images into each of the 24 spots. The board itself was one I found online and just altered, again in my Silhouette studio to fit what I wanted.

I printed them out, trimmed them up and matted them on Raspberry Fizz PTI card stock

Ok here is the last picture~thanks for hanging in...LOL!!

This is whole kit...I have to say I am pretty impressed with how it all turned out!!

A lot of work but for the person that this project was made for...my son..he loved it and that is all that mattered!! He is very excited to take it to school and play Bingo for his Valentine's Day party! I just LOVE that he is so proud of my work and wants to show it off...makes it all worth while :)

Additional supplies used that were not listed above include...stickles for the lips on the game bards, acetate for the box cover and Jillibean Soup~Hearty Barley card stock for the box cover.

Burrr...It's Scarf Weather w/Trendy Twine (2nd Post)

Good morning everyone!!

I am very excited for my first individual post as a new Trendy Twine DT member!

And really hope you like my project!!

This month we are showcasing the gorgeous

Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine

~pink, white and lime~

LOVE it!!!

So time to see my project....

Walking through the store the other day I found this adorable fleece scarf that had the same colors as this month's Trendy Twine color we are showcasing so I thought...

why not wrap it up and tie an adorable tag around it for a gift...

Seeing that I have boys...anything cute and pink and cute...(yeah I said that twice..LOL) I eat up...and this is something I think turned out adorable..

I used my new tag die from PaperTrey Ink~(I just can not get enough of it)

and the adorable PKS~Critter Faces for the adorable penguin I cut using a file from the Silhouette Store. 

Here is a close-up of the tag and all the fun Watermelon Taffy Twine that was added.... on the buttons, as a scarf on my penguin and to help tie my tag onto my scarf.

Isn't is such a fun winter project...perfect for dressing up an adorable fleece scarf??

Morning!!

Time for another TAWS DT post and today I am sharing a card using the kitty fromn the new release...

Sittin Pretty

Here she is....

Yes she is plaid and I think she looks pretty cute sitting there in the grass, enjoying the nice day.
What do you think??
I used my Cameo to cut the circle base, then stamped my kitty. I stamped her a second time on my pattern paper~ Everyday Life from The Paper Loft then glued her to the circle base...but before attaching her I cut her head so that I could pop that up.
I added the grass background using my copic and the clouds were made using the 
Tree's Company stamp set

I added some Trendy Twine in Holly Green

Pretty cute right??
I think so :)

I went with the same basic idea Amy did...

 CAS with a tag

I just changed up the colors and the embellishments

Here is a close-up of the embossing on the tag and the heart.

You can also see the sparkle that the embossing powder left on the letter "u"

I can tell 2013 is going to be an AWESOME year!!

That being said I have

 some very exciting news to share!!!

I have been holding this in for a LONG while now and I am bursting at the seams with excitement....

Now I can finally share.....

EEKK!! I am super excited to be a new DT member over at
Trendy Twine!!
I sure LOVE my Trendy Twine and can not wait to share more projects with you all using this beautiful twine...
So for my first project I wanted to share a
"New Year's Card"

CAS and packed with yummy Trendy Twine in 

Midnight

a mix of White, Black and Grey

Here is a close-up of the numbers

I think they look awesome with the twine behind them

What do you think???

Bet you would like to know how to do this...

it is actually very easy....

Using my Cameo I cut the top layer of my card...Just a white piece of card stock with the numbers 2013 arranged by me down the side.

Once that was cut on the reverse side I cut several pieces of twine...laid them side by side to cover the numbers and then taped them all down...making sure they would not shift at all.

So you couldn't see any of the tape or twine in the back I layered my white card stock with black card stock then pop dotted the whole mat up on my black card base.

I finished my card off with some score lines down the side and across the bottom,

added my sentiment from My Creative Time's~Card Sentiments Set

and then a few random gems.
