Jingle Bells......{Merry Christmas w/Trendy Twine}

Good Morning and Merry Christmas everyone!
I hope you day is filled with LOTS of love!
The Trendy Twine DT has made some holiday cards and you can see them all HERE on the TT Blog.
And this is the card I made....
For my card I used the Lowercase and Uppercase Fun Dies from My Creative Time to die cut the "Jingle" into my white cardstock. Then using the Rectangular Frame dies, I die cut the large in red cardstock to add behind the medium one in white cardstock. I stamped the "bells" using the Alpha letters, also from My Creative Time.
Since I wanted to use the Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine for my card, I added a banner of matching blue cardstock, wrapped some Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine around the cardstock and added some silver jingle bells.
To finish off my card, I mounted the entire mat on a kraft cardstock base.
A fun, CAS card to the holiday season!

Happy Birthday Kathy!

Hey there everyone!!!!
It is a celebration day over in The Peachy Place~
we are celebrating Kathy's birthday!!!

A bunch of crafters have been secretly planning to surprise Kathy with PK birthday cards :)
I bet she will be surprised to see all the ADORABLE birthday cards in the group!
Here is the card I made for her!
To make my card,
I used the Peachy Keen Stamp set~ PKSC~12 December 2012 which is currently one of the sets on sale this month :) I stamped both the sentiment and that adorable face using this set.
 For the rainbow colored stars, I used My Creative Time's 3 Stitched Star Dies, and scraps of colorful cardstock in my HUGE bin of paper.
I added some enamel dots in coordinating colors, added some white gel pen to the star's face as well as some chalk to his cheeks.
My card was then added to a Stitched Rectangular Frame Die, also from MCT, mounted onto my kraft cardstock base.
This card is now ready to be airborn and onto the birthday girl!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATHY!!!
Hope it is a GREAT one!!!

To see more of the cards we all made, check out the Peachy Keen Stamps FB group

MCT Retirement Sale.....{Small Talk}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
I hope you all have had a GREAT weekend!!!!

Did you happen to catch the news over at My Creative Time??

Emma is having a RETIREMENT sale on several of her stamps.
SALE INFO!
Okay, here is all the sale information! If you want to go straight to the "RETIRED STAMPS" you can see them HERE!  Once these retired items are gone…..they are GONE FOREVER! ;)

Besides the "retired items", She also have LOTS of stamps & dies that are marked down as well! They are already marked down! If you would like to go straight to ALL the "SALE" items, you can go HERE!

Don't forget to use the code SAVE15, you will get 15% off your ENTIRE purchase! That is a PRETTY GOOD deal especially since all the sale items are already marked down, that is just a little additional something I wanted to do for ALL of YOU!!!

ALSO, this sale discount applies to "IN-STOCK" items ONLY!  There will be NO pre-orders as well. So, basically if the little "add to cart" sign is gone, that means it is already sold out!

Here is a link to EVERYTHING that is marked down & on sale HERE!

I wanted to make a card using one of the stamp sets that is on the retirement list~
Make sure to pick up this set before it's gone....
The card I made is a cute 3 1/2 x 3 1/12 shaker using the Small Talk set paired with a new stamp and die set~ All You Need is Coffee. To make my card, I cut the card base using kraft cardstock, then added a layer of brown cardstock. Then using a 3 x 3 piece of white cardstock, I stamped the frame from the Small Talk set.
Next using the coffee cup die, I cut it out into the 3x3 section of the white mat. Using some sequins from My Craft Spot~Chocolate Sundae I filled in the coffee cup.
To then finish my card off, I stamped the sentiment, also from the All You Need is Coffee set, into the space along the bottom of the frame as well as added the adorable stitched heart above the coffee cup.

So there is my card using the almost retired and never to be re-released stamp set
Small Talk.
Thanks so much for stopping by today to check out my card. Make sure to stop by the
 My Creative Time blog for more inspiration.
Have a GREAT day and I will see you all back here tomorrow :)

Merry Christmas w/ Peachy Keen Stamps ~{Trendspotting}

Good Morning everyone!!!
If you are looking for today's What a Treat Wednesday with My Creative Time please click HERE!

I’m up on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog today to share a Trendspotting project.

Christmas is in the air and GOLD is big right now so while searching the wonderful world of Pinterest I came across this gorgeous picture.
Trendspotting: Leopard print and black and white Christmas decor!
Pinterest Image found HERE

I used the cow print as the basis for my project as well as the gold, black and white color combo to make my Christmas card using 3 of the newly released stamps from PK.
Here is what I came up with....
 I love heat embossing....love the way it looks and the texture it adds to a project. I started this card out by using the PK~1437 Cow Print Square 4.25" and heat embossing it on kraft cardstock using some gold embossing powder. Then using the sentiment from the new PK~1449 Holiday Sentiments set, I stamped it onto the kraft cardstock base in between a small space I left purposely left between the cow print.  For that adorable image, I used the new PK~1439 Charlotte & Junior stamp, colored him using my copic markers and to make his vest match the cow print background, I used a gold pen to color it in.
Here is another angle of my card where you can see the beautiful heat embossed background. I also placed the image up on some foam pop dots for a bit more dimension :)

What a Treat Wednesday...{My Creative Time}

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!!!

 It is
What a Treat Wednesday  with MCT
where the DT makes any container, treat and/or packaging with My Creative Time stamps and dies!
So super fun considering I just LOVE to make holiday treats :)

I have a CUTE Christmas treat to share today. This is so super easy to make and would be a fun classroom party idea or even a great holiday gift to give to the kiddo's and their friends.

Check out my reindeer candy canes...... Aren't they the CUTEST?!?!?!
Lets take a closer look at how I made these..... You need a few items that I am sure most crafters have in their stash
~Hemp twine (brown)
~google eyes and a red small pom pom
Plus of course you need some Candy Canes
You start by wrapping the hemp twine around both candy canes so the hooks are facing outward. Wrap it tight but not so you crack the candy canes (I did that and then had to eat it..LOL)
Next using your hot glue gun, add the google eyes and red pom pom for the nose.
Using the sentiment from My Creative Time's Oh Deer stamp set~ I stamped it onto the die banner from Just Simply Live. I did stamp it closer to the edge so I could hole punch a tiny hole to add my Trendy Twine to attach it to the candy cane.
A simple bow to hold the tag in place and these treats are ready to bring a smile to someones face :)

MCT "5 Days of Christmas"....{Day 4}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
Day 4 of My Creative Time's
"5 Days of Christmas"
If you haven't had a chance to check out the past 3 days of projects..make sure you do!
They are all AWESOME and you can find the direct link's to them below.
 There are AMAZING projects and ton's of holiday inspiration..plus a SWEET prize everyday for one lucky crafter!

Adding onto my week long string of Christmas gifts and yummy treats, for today's inspiration I made some adorable Santa boxes.
This is a file I picked up in the Silhouette store. Oh so adorable right?!?! Well to make it a bit more adorable and more festive I changed up a few parts to add some My Creative Time goodies. Can you pick them out??

To make these, I used the file for the box, sizing it down to 6 inches. These are perfect to hold a few hershey kisses or some chocolate nuggets. Then using the belt and buckle from the file, I cut them out using silver and black cardstock. For Santa's ruffles...ho ho ho..LOL I used the Fun Stitched Edges Die. I had to place some buttons on it then, so I stamped 3 small dots using the Boughs of Holly stamp set. Once the whole project was put together, I added my tag using one of the stamps from the A Day in December set. If you don't own that one yet...you have to add it to your list. It is PERFECT for all your Christmas projects!
Once I stamped the sentiment onto some white cardstock, I fussy cut it, placed a hole into the corner and threaded some Cranberry Trendy Twine to hold it onto the box. A simple bow and my treat boxes were complete.
