MCT "5 Days of Christmas" Day 2....{Treats}

Hello & welcome to our

 "5" Days of Christmas"

This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of last minute Christmas ideas, such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders & what ever else comes to mind that will help YOU get your juices flowing for the holiday! There will be a giveaway each day & a winner will be announced each day! Example, winner of Monday will be announced on Tuesday, winner of Tuesday will be announced on Wednesday.....and so on!

Today is day 2 of our 5 Days of Christmas! 

We all will be showcasing some quick & EASY Treat Holders! 
Take a look at my inspiration and let me know what you think....

One of my favorite new releases from this year is the Santa Hat Lollipop Holder Die
I used this die with some pretty designer paper from Recollections~ Christmas paper pad and some white cardstock. 
The sentiment, from the Pocketful of Holiday Sentiments set fits perfectly onto Santa's hat
I added a large Original Gourmet Lollipop inside the die and then tied it all together with some black Trendy Twine.
Another quick and easy treat which would look adorable on your holiday table or given as a sweet treat to that special someone!

So there is my Day 2 TREAT project. I hope you like it!!

Gobble Gobble......{MCT Throwback Thursday}

Good Morning friends!
Today I am sharing a project for My Creative Time's
Throwback Thursday. This is where we use an older stamp/die set to make a project :)
Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I thought I would make a cute turkey tag using the older set Gobble Gobble
Take a look at my tag and let me know what you think...

Isn't that turkey so adorable?? I love him colored in with my copics!
To make my project, I started with the Super Tag Dies and actually made my tag so a message can be added inside as well.
I layered the tag with some brown scrap polka dot paper and then popped my colored turkey onto the front.
For the sentiment, I used the Ribbon End Banners, trimming the banner down so it fit onto my tag and stamped the sentiment onto the banner. The sentiment was added right under the turkey filling up the tag nicely.
To finish off my tag, I added some Kraft Trendy Twine and this project is ready to be given to that special "turkey" LOL!
Actually it would look adorable tied around a napkin as a place setting for Thanksgiving Dinner!

To My Cool Friend...{MCT Tag It Tuesday}

Good Morning Everyone!!

Today I am sharing a project for 

Tag it Tuesday with My Creative Time!

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....

I love making tags, and the Super Tag Dies is a MUST have in your stash!

I used that die, cutting the bottom layer using kraft cardstock and adding a summer stripe patterned paper for the top layer.

Using matching cardstock, I die cut the popsicle from the new Anything Is Popsicle set and popped it up onto the tag. The sentiment, also from the same set was stamped onto the starburst die from the Super Tag Dies set.

I tied the tag using some Totally White Trendy Twine onto the perfect summertime gift, a popsicle koozie/sleeve. 

What a fun gift idea that is super quick and easy to make!

Happy 4th....{MCT 3D Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone and 

Happy 4th of July!

Today is MCT's 3D Wednesday and to celebrate I made some red white and blue lollipop holders!

Take a look at my festive holiday treats and let me know what you think...

I love the Mini Stitched Lollipop & Scallop Die! This die can be used for so many different holidays and decorated for an endless amount of party themes.
For my project I used some DoodleBug Design paper in a festive star pattern and die cut the lollipop holder.
I grabbed some matching cardstock in red, white and blue and die cut the scallop shape in the red cardstock. I layered each scallop with a white circle die cut from the More Stitched Circle Dies set.
Keeping in theme of the stars, I used the Mini Lolly Add On set and blue cardstock which got layered onto the scallop.
Finally before assembling the lollipop holders, I stamped my sentiment using the set~ My Little Firecracker.
Once the lollipop holder was assembled, I added an Original Gourmet Lollipop and tied the holder closed with some Trendy Twine.

MCT 80th Edition Sneaky Peek Day 4

Good Morning everyone and welcome to day 4 of sneaks for the 

80th New Release from

My Creative Time!!

Today we are showcasing an AWESOME new favor die....introducing the

Pretty Treat Topper Die and here is my inspiration.....

Bring on the party favors!! For my project I made a birthday gift using the adorable topper die!
I have these small bags that fit perfectly inside the topper AND I was able to use the More Stitched Rectangular Die for an insert to hold my gift card.
The topper was die cut in kraft cardstock and then some designer paper from my stash. 
The sentiment along with the sunshine die is from the A Sunny Hello Kit
Finally to complete my project I added a white Trendy Twine bow to the handle.

MCT 78th New Release Sneak Day 2

Super Tag Dies

And here is my inspiration.....

I have 2 projects to share today using these new sets!

Both projects use both stamp and die sets and I got alittle inky making these.

I used the Super Tag Die super hero splotch and made a stencil which I then inked up onto both the card mat and tag mat.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean.

The tag, after I inked up the splotches, I added the stamped sentiment from the Have a Super Day set. I finished up the tag with some Totally Red Trendy Twine and this tag is ready for a gift.

The card  which I kept along the CAS line was designed onto a piece of white cardstock that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Again I added the stencil and inked up the splotches using my distress ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Have a Super Day set and then die cut the super hero lady using black cardstock. Of course since she is a Super Hero I added her red cape and assembled her onto the card from.

I finished off this card my adding some die cut stars, also from the new Have a Super Day set in the matching distress colors.

MCT 78th New Release Sneak Day 1

Good Morning and welcome to day 1 of sneaks for the
78th New Release from

My Creative Time!!

Today the DT will be showcasing the adorable new set~

You're All Write

Take a look at my inspiration using this set....

Ok now isn't that pencil just the CUTEST!!

I have 2 projects to share using this set. The first one is a mini post it note holder.

I have made these several times in the past and just LOVE how fun they are to make and share. I used the directions for the post it note that can be found HERE on my blog (there are actually a few different kinds of post it note holders found here too)

I added the designer paper from the  Cool Kid paper pack from Crate Paper for the lined paper which was die cut using the Stitched Squares Inside & Out set.

The sentiment is from the new You're All Write set which was stamped right onto the lined paper.

That cutie pencil, also from the You're All Write set was stamped and then paper pieces using scrap cardstock from my stash. He was then popped up onto the from of the post it note holder. 

A mini pen and a matching post it note pad completed my project and it is now ready to give!!

My other project is a small tag that I added to a skinny clear bag of pencils. 

The tag, from the Chunky Stitched Tag Die was die cut using the same lined paper. I stamped the sentiment, also from the set You're All Write onto the tag.

I stamped the mini pencil cutie onto some white cardstock and then I colored him using my prismacolor pencils.

The tag was attached to the skinny bag using some Totally White Trendy Twine.

MCT 76th New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning everyone and welcome back to Day 3 of sneaks for the
76th New Release from My Creative Time!!

Today we have another AWESOME die set to showcase....
Introducing the new
Chunky Tag Dies
and here is the project I made using these dies

OMG can you say AWESOME to this new set! There are 6 dies in this set making 3 layered tags or 6 tags if you don't want to layer them. 
For my project I used the 2 largest dies to make a tag mini card.
The base of my card is the largest tag die that I cut using kraft cardstock. I added a layer of designer paper and die cut that using the stitched layer die. 
Since I wanted to make a birthday card/tag, I pulled out the Party Hat Dies, used the smaller of the 2 party hats and die cut it using matching designer paper from the Boy oh Boy paper pack from Carta Bella.
Finally, my sentiment was stamped on a slant using the Perfect Matcha set. 
Some trendy twine completed my card/tag!
I LOVE these new tags so much and will be using this set a lot!! I know you guys are going to LOVE it too!!

MCT 76th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone
Happy Valentines Day

welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the 76th New Release from 
My Creative Time!

Today is another GREAT inspiration day as the DT is sneaking the new sets
Cute Stitched Egg Tag Die & Egg Decorations (FREEBIE)
Take a look at what I made using these sets...

Miss Emma has done it again with another AWESOME tag die. Loving the adorable eggs and like always, designing quick tags make gift giving so fun!
For my project, I made a set of 5 tags all based around the center polka dot designed tag.

For that tag I used some pretty polka dot pattern paper from my stash to layer onto the Cute Stitched Egg Tag Die base.
The sentiment is from yesterdays sneak~ I'll Never Let You Go and then I added the adorable bunny from the Mini Lolly Add Ons set.

The other 4 tags, I kept on the simpler side using matching cardstock to the pattern paper but adding some extra texture to the eggs by stamping the polka dot stamp from the FREEBIE set onto each egg using Versamark Ink. It blends the colors from the paper perfectly to add that little bit of pop onto each egg.

Then sentiment is also from the FREEBIE set which I stamped onto each egg as well.

To finish off my tags. I added some Totally White Trendy Twine to the tops of each tag,

To make these, I used designer paper from Echo Park~ Winter Park, the sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays and white and navy cardstock from my stash.
The tags are super simple to put together and the possibilities for designing these are endless!!
To finish off the tags, I did add some Trendy Twine to be able to attach these to some holiday gifts!

Aren't these new tags adorable!!!
I attached each one to an oversized candy cane for an easy little treat.

For the snowflake tag, I used kraft cardstock, added the white snowflake layer and then a pretty blue snowflake designer paper from Doodlebug designs~ Sugarplums paper pack.
The sentiment for the snowflake tag is from the Mini Christmas Greetings stamp set and fit perfectly inside the snowflake!
The snowman tag was made using the same designer paper pack. Each of the pieces added to the tag for a super adorable snowman! The sentiment for this tag is from the stamp set~ Pocketful of Holiday Sentiments and again fits perfectly inside the snowman's belly!!
Each of the tags were attached to the candy cane using some Totally White Trendy Twine!
2 easy to make little treats using these adorable new tag dies!!
