Happy Birthday...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good Morning and welcome to another

My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!

Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using some of the older MCT stamps and dies

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....

To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then a layer of pretty designer paper from American Crafts.

Next I die cut a square out of the center of my card layers where I ended up placing a clear acetate sheet to make a window in my card.

Using the adorable cloud dies, I added those to the top of the window, lining them up inside the square.

Using the balloon dies, I added 2, popped up onto the front of my card using matching designer paper.

With some matching twine, I added bows to both balloons.

Finally for the sentiment, I used the a Strip sentiment die and the stamp from the Especially for you set. The sentiment was then popped up onto the balloon.

A few random enamel dots and my card is complete.

MCT 101st New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the
101st New Release from MCT!
We have another awesome new set of dies to showcase....

Introducing the

~ Pretty Circle Layers
~Pretty Scallop Circles

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think...

For my inspiration today I made a birthday card to add to my stash! I used several MCT stamps and dies to make this card.

To start, I used a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock. Next for the card mat, I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame die in the "middle" size and added it to the card base on an angle.

Then using the new Pretty Circle Layers and Pretty Scallop Circles I made my focal point where I added the adorable Birthday Cake die.

The sentiment, from the Hello Georgous set was stamped onto a Strip Sentiment Die.

The focal point was all popped up onto the card front and further embellished with some enamel dots.

Happy Happy Happy...Birthday {MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog!

I have a Birthday Palooza post to share today for My Creative Time.

You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash and this card is so easy to make using MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look and let me know what you think...

I pulled out an older MCT set today for this card~ Happy Thoughts ~which I think is now retired :(
I die cut the "happy" sentiment 5 times in a rainbow color combo of cardstock and then attached them to the front of my card mat in a diagonal pattern.
For the "birthday" sentiment, I used the same Happy Thoughts set and stamped it onto the smallest of the Strip Sentiment Dies
A hemp twine bow around the whole card mat completed my birthday card!

I apoligize for making a card using a retired stamp/die set, I try really hard to pull all of the older sets no longer available on the MCT website but this one must have slipped by.

Happy Birthday.....{MCT Birthday Palooza}

MCT Birthday Palooza project!!
You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash and this card is so easy to make using MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look and let me know what you think...

Rainbows and birthdays seem to go hand and in hand and I just LOVE how this card turned out!
To make my card, I started with a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Next using the Script Words stamp set and some Tim Holtz Distress Ink I stamped the sentiment in my rainbow inks. I also grabbed the Stitched Sweetheart small heart die and cut them in the matching inks.
Each of the hearts were then popped up onto the birthday sentiment in a random pattern.
To complete my card I added the "to you" sentiment using part of another sentiment from the Time to Celebrate stamp set.

MCT 90th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good Morning everyone and welcome to day 4 of sneaks for the
90th New Release from My Creative Time!
We have another great new set to showcase for you today
Introducing the beautiful new
Flower & Heart Mom Dies 
and here is my inspiration card...

Today is my MIL's birthday so the new MOM dies came at the perfect time!

Her favorite color is purple (could you tell..LOL) so I made her a pretty birthday card to celebrate her day.

I used lots of the new release sets for this card. I started with a kraft cardstock base and added a layer of white cardstock. I die cut the designer paper with the Stitched Rectangular Frame die and layered that onto my card base.

Again using the Heart Love Note Die set, I added a large purple heart to the center of my card, popping it up with some foam dots.

I then used the Add-On's for the larger and smaller hearts that back the Mom Heart Die. The smaller heart was also popped up onto the Mom die and the whole piece was added on top of the purple heart.

For the sentiment, I used the new Strip Sentiment Dies and the stamped sentiment from the new Hello Gorgeous set.

Some purple enamel dots completes this special birthday card!

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another

Anything Goes with My Creative Time!

For my project today, I made a birthday card using the newly released 

Time to Celebrate stamp set.

Take a look at my card and let me know what you think....

To make my card, I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then the designer paper die cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

For the adorable face, I used the More Stitched Circles and the Scalloped Stitched Circles. I stamped the cute Peachy Keen Stamps face onto the circle and then colored it up with my copics. I added the tear drop from the Showers of Happiness set.

The party hat is from the Party Hat Dies set that I die cut using matching designer paper from Pink Paislee.

Finally for the sentiment, I used the new Time to Celebrate stamp set and I stamped it onto the Sentiment Label Die.

So there is my completed card. I sure hope you like it!!

and here is my inspiration.....

Loving these new sets and the awesome new sentiments!

To make my card I used the candle and the small "frosting" layer from the Cake Die set as my focal point. I added the candle onto the Scalloped Stitched Circle and the "frosting" holds the sentiment perfectly.

The whole focal point was added to a piece of matching designer paper that was die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Everything was then layered onto a piece of black cardstock and matted onto a white cardstock base.

A festive birthday card completed to add to my stash!

My card was very simple to put together! I used the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for the card mat of designer paper and then added the Scalloped Stitched Circle for the frame of my Baby Cake Die.

The sentiment was stamped under the cake die using the sneak set~ Time to Celebrate!

and here are the project I made using these sets.

How fun is this new cake die!!

I love the size of it and how you can add a sentiment right onto the cake.

To make my card I used fun designer paper from Lawn Fawn for my birthday card.

I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then my designer paper die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Next I die cut the new Cake Die in kraft cardstock and then added the layers with the matching designer paper.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Time to Celebrate stamp set right onto the cake die, added some glossy accents to the flame and then tied the whole card together with a piece of Totally White trendy Twine.

MCT 78th New Release Sneak Day 2

Super Tag Dies

And here is my inspiration.....

I have 2 projects to share today using these new sets!

Both projects use both stamp and die sets and I got alittle inky making these.

I used the Super Tag Die super hero splotch and made a stencil which I then inked up onto both the card mat and tag mat.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean.

The tag, after I inked up the splotches, I added the stamped sentiment from the Have a Super Day set. I finished up the tag with some Totally Red Trendy Twine and this tag is ready for a gift.

The card  which I kept along the CAS line was designed onto a piece of white cardstock that I die cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

Again I added the stencil and inked up the splotches using my distress ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Have a Super Day set and then die cut the super hero lady using black cardstock. Of course since she is a Super Hero I added her red cape and assembled her onto the card from.

I finished off this card my adding some die cut stars, also from the new Have a Super Day set in the matching distress colors.
