FALL Banner.....{Watch us Wednesday w/ TKJ}

Good Morning everyone!
I am so happy to have my project spotlighted over at The Kraft Journal
for our Watch us Wednesday post

So for my inspiration I thought I would make a FALL Banner using products from The Kraft Outlet along with lots from my stash....Here is it, hope you like it!

(click on the pictures to make them larger)
What do you think??? I wish you could see it in person, the texture with all the fabrics and embellishments really make this one fun banner!
For my banner I started out using 4 of the Mini Canvas Triangles and die cut using wool felt from my stash the circles, letters and leaves, all using My Creative Time dies.
Below are close-ups of each of the panels....again click on them to bring them up bigger

Once all my pieces were die cut and hot glued to the canvas triangles, I took some buttons from my stash and added some Natural Hemp Cord to each of them. They were tied in double bows, with one bow snipped to add some extra pieces to the bow...looks kinda fun doesn't it???
Finally to finish my banner, I took a Memo Pin and added some words from the Chit Chat Seasonal Word Stickers. I can not get enough of that sticker set....LOL!
I did add some eyelets to the corners of the banner pieces and then threaded some thick hemp like rope through the holes....now it is all ready to hang!

 So there you have it....
my inspiration for this Watch us Wednesday.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with our current challenge.
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Wednesday!

A 2013 Banner to help ring in the New Year
Using a file from the Silhouette store and the beautiful MME~ Honey paper pack I received from Annette (my secret santa and TAWS DT sister)
I made this fun and festive banner.
Of course the only way to hold it all together was with some 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon in White from the Pink & White bundle.
To add some more to the banner I used more crinkle ribbon in Baby Girl (Baby Bundle), Tuxedo (Celebrations Bundle) and Cherry Lipstick (Pink & White Bundle) I tied tiny knots in between each of the banner pieces and cut them all the same length.

I hope you have enjoyed my project
and will join in our challenge!!

I added it to a plain back frame I had laying around the house

With chalk they can write the number and then erase with a cloth and change it from day to day...
For my banner I used My Creative Time's Build a Banner Kit Dies and the new Lowercase Fun Dies. They were all strung with my FAVORITE twine EVER~ Trendy Twine's Christmas Candy Cane

Today and Tomorrow (September 1 and 2nd), 30+fantastic papercrafters have come together to create Halloween-themed banners. We all will then be donating these banners to Ellen (CardMonkey), who works as an Admissions Coordinator at Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC), www.pediatricspecialty.com.

PSC is a long-term care facility for special needs children who are medically-fragile and/or technologically-dependent. The babies, children and youths at PSC range in age from birth to 21, and are admitted from all over the country.

Some are infants, born prematurely and before their lungs have had a chance to mature. Others have serious birth defects, illnesses or injuries from accidents that cause them to need tender loving care in a home-like environment -- many for their lifetimes.

Our banners are meant to cheer the young patients, their families, and the staff at PSC.
