Sending you a Winter Wave....{MCT Gift Card Giving}

Good Morning everyone!
It is my turn to share a project on the MCT blog and today's theme is

Gift Card Giving!

I know it isnt even Halloween yet BUT we are expecting our first snowfall on Friday and to me that means winter, snowmen and hot chocolate.

For my project I made another mailbox gift card holder~winter themed :)

Take a look at my gift card holder and let me know what you think...

To make my gift card holder, I started with the Mailbox Gift Card Holder die cut in kraft cardstock to make my base/card.

I added a layer of pretty designer paper from Echo Park~I Love Winter paper pack.

That adorable snowman is from the Chill Out set. He was die cut on white cardstock and then colored in with my copic markers.

The sentiment, also from the Chill Out set was added to the square die cut stamped onto another matching piece of designer paper and layered onto a kraft frame.

I popped up both the sentiment and snowman onto the front of the Mailbox.

Some white Nuvo Enamel dots to the snowman's hat added a nice extra shine.

MCT 38th New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning and welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the new

My Creative Time 38th  Release!

Another AWESOME day of projects yesterday right?? Well today is going be be just as FABULOUS!!!

Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new sets~

Snow Buddies and Winter Snowman Dies
OMG wait until you see these sets!! Total CUTENESS!!

For my card today I used the new snowman dies along with the new oval dies to create this....

Don't you just LOVE that snowman?? He is super cool...LOL!!! To make my card, I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then a rectangular designer paper die cut. I knew where the snowman was going to be placed so I stamped my sentiment using the new Snow Buddies stamp set. Next I die cut the oval where my snowman was going to be placed and set that aside to cut the pieces for the snowman. With matching pattern paper, I cut those adorable mittens and the scarf, the snowman in white and the hat, buttons and glasses in black. You can even see his adorable stick arms which were die cut in brown and are all part of the new Winter Snowman Dies set. He was then assembled and placed onto the oval die cut.

Here is another angle of the card and you can see the dimension I added by popping up the mittens and scarf. Some enamel dots and my card was completed!
