Peachy Keen Stamps Color/Photo Inspiration Challenge {14-02}

Good Morning
and
Welcome to another fun Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge!!!!
This challenge is the Color/Photo Inspiration seen below...
Don't you just LOVE the colors and patterns???

For my inspiration I used some of the colors~
Green, Pink and Yellow
and the fun polka dots in the picture to make a sweet PK Friendship card.
Hope you like it!!!

That adorable flower stamp is PKS ~Lg Fun Flower Rosemary and it is the first time inking her up.
I paper pieced her using My Minds Eye~ Collectable pattern paper and added some chalk and white gel pen doodles to her face :)
Once all the pieces were cut, I stamped her again on some white cardstock, glued the pattern pattern into place and then fussy cut a frame. She was then popped up onto my card base using some foam tape.
Since I wanted the flower stamp to really stand out, I kept the base of my card pretty simple. I did add some zig zag stitching to the border and then stamped the sentiment from My Creative Time~Floral Sentiments.
To finish off my card, I added a few matching colored enamel dots from various packages. Boy do I LOVE those enamel dots! They are such a GREAT extra embellishment!

I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with the new challenge!!
You can find out all the details by heading over to the Peachy Keen Blog as well as see the inspiration from the other DT members!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Saturday!!!

Little background before I share my card....my son is a HUGE Bigfoot fan...and I mean HUGE. He watches the show Finding Bigfoot every Sunday night, has the Gone Squatchin' hat and Bigfoot tee shirt as well as wants to go and find Bigfoot himself .....SO when I saw the super adorable image from the Deep in the Woods set I was excited but he was OMG over the moon excited!
This leads me to my card....a CAS Bigfoot card just for him...because like Bigfoot, my son is one of a kind :)
LOL!! Is he not the cutest Bigfoot EVER?!?! I just LOVE his cutie face :)
I stamped him on Kraft cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then colored him using my prismacolor pencils. I wanted to add some additional details to him so I stamped him again on a piece of designer paper from Bo Bunny~ Camp-a-lot collection and then pieced only his belly onto the image.
I finished my card off by stamping my sentiment and then tying a piece of natural hemp twine around the top in a bow.
Easy, fast and so perfect for my son!

Happy Gobble Day w/3 Girl Jam

Good Morning Blogger and 3 Girl Jam Fan's!!
It is my day to share my DT project with you all both here and over on the 3 Girl Jam blog!

I know we have yet to make it out of October, and we all still have pumpkins, ghosts and candy on the brain but I have the first of many Thanksgiving cards to share...using one of my favorite Fall colors of
Crinkle Ribbon~
Hot Chocolate from the Hot & Cold Bundle
Isn't this ribbon perfect with my too cute and very colorful Turkey :)
Here is a close-up of the bow....
I tied it twice, one on top of another and then added a brad that I made to the center.
So you probably want to know how I made that right???
Very simple actually....I had these brads that came from a kit and the design on the top was a sticker, so I peeled it off, punched a small circle of matching designer paper and glossy accented over the top...TaDa! Done and Done and in LOVE with how easy it was to do!
I am now on the lookout for more large brads to alter :)

D2D~Stitched Pumpkin Card w/Bugbite's All Year Round Sentiment

Hi everyone!
I completed another challenge for D2D with this weeks freebie~ stitched pumpkins.

For this card instead of coloring with my copics I decided to do alittle paper piecing.

The paper is from Cloud 9~ Seasonal Stack
Recollections primary color pack and scraps from my stash
The image is from Designed 2 Delight
The sentiment is from Bugbites~ All Year Round.
I also added some foam dimensions to the pumpkin and the leaf...not sure if the picture shows it too well.
Oh yeah the background stamp is from a Stampin Up set that I had (most of the stampin up stamps that I have are not grouped by name so I don't know what set they come from...that's the way I got them)

Well that is all I have for tonight...thanks for stopping by and have a great night!
See you all tomorrow :)
