Feel Better Soon!...{MCT Manly Monday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to
Manly Monday!
For today's card I went with one of my new  favorite stamp sets~Ouch! to make a get well card for one of the boys on my son's baseball team. He took a pretty hard hit ball to the eye on Friday night at our tournament and ended up needing 5 stitches. They boys were very concerned about their teammate so I came home after this happened, made the card and took it back to the baseball diamond the next day for the kids to sign.

So to make my card, I went with our team colors...red, black and white. I used the Stitched Squares Inside and Out for the red layer, making my card about a 4 1/2x 4 1/2. I used some versamark ink to stamp the little band-aids onto the cardstock making my own background.
Next I die cut his number using the Pretty Bold Numbers, die cut the large band-aid in some red designer paper and die cut another square using white cardstock.
To get the ripped edge on the white cardstock, I used the More Stitched Edges Die.
To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment from the Ouch! set, popped the white ripped piece up with some foam dots and attached the band-aid over the the edge.

The boys also wanted to show some more support for their teammate so they all wore his number on their helmets all weekend. Love that they are such a caring group!!!
