MCT Inspiration Wednesday~ It's A Coffee Date!

Good Morning and Happy Hump day everyone!
It's time for another
My Creative Time Inspiration Wednesday.
If you are new to my blog or to what Inspiration Wednesday is all about, it is
where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.

My inspiration comes from a fun video I watched on YouTube
Simply Simple K-Cup Holder by Connie Stewart
You can check out here video HERE
I LOVED this idea so I made my own project using My Creative Time stamps and dies!
There is nothing better than a fresh, hot cup of coffee to get my morning started! Shared with my hubs....the best morning ever!

Didn't this K-cup holder turn out adorable???
It was so super easy to put together, taking 1 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and some designer paper. Of course I added my touches using MCT goodies!

Here is a closer look at my K-cup box. I followed the video tutorial to put it together only changing a few things so I could incorporate some My Creative Time goodies into the project. For the front panel and back panel of designer paper, I used the smallest of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies. To make the handle of the box, I used the Stitched Oval Die and then for the holes for the K-cups, I used the 3rd smallest circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.

You can see the fun stitching where the K-cups drop into the holder. And those circle dies couldn't have worked out any better!! They are the PERFECT size :)
To finish off my project, I added adorable tag using the NEW Mini Chalkboard Tag Die from the last release. I stamped the sentiment onto the tag using the You Are Perk-fect stamp set and added a few coffee beans to the tag as well. The tag was then tied onto the box using some Totally Kraft Trendy Twine. Some matching May Arts ribbon and my project is complete!
