MCT 35th New Release Blog Hop!

Good Morning
and
Welcome to the much anticipated
35th New Release from My Creative Time!

This week has been so much fun with the DT sharing amazing projects and inspiration! But we have one more day of AWESOME~NESS!

Now you should be coming from the VERY talented
but if you are just stopping in, make sure to head back to the start~ the AMAZING
You are not going to want to miss a thing! She really ROCKED this release (well she always does, doesn't she?? Of course!!)

Today I get to showcase the Picture Perfect stamp and die set.
I have 2 different and fun cards to share using this set. Hope you like them!

Here they both are up close and with all the details.....
For my first card I went CAS using the circle dies for the camera center and instead made a bulls-eye with the pieces. When I was thinking about my project for the hop, I sat looking though all the sentiments for a long time. Then it hit me :) I am forever forgetting birthday's and this sentiment would be PERFECT for a belated birthday card. So the inside (which I didn't picture~sorry) I made a computer generated sentiment, which says "Sorry I missed your birthday"
Now the best thing about a card like this is, you can use it for anything that you miss...LOL!

My Creative Time Products Used:
Picture Perfect (New Release)
Bunch of Fun Circle Dies
Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies
Pre-Sneak Rectangle Dies
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my next card I thought I would use another of the cute sentiments and make a fun card.
For this one, I used the fun new camera die and mini frame as my focal point. I added that adorable PKS face to the center...how cute is that????
I added some Celebration Trendy Twine and some random enamel dots to my pre-sneak card mats and then stamped the sentiment. Some glossy accents to the center of the camera and my card was complete.
Picture Perfect (New Release)
Pre-Sneak Rectangle Dies
Other Products Used:
MCT 35th New Release Sneak Peek Day 4
Good Morning and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 35th  Release!
Aren't you all just LOVING the sneaks so far????? Well we have one more day of projects to share before the big reveal and blog hop!!!!!!
For our final day of sneaks,  the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Tag Die Layers
This awesome set was designed by Miss Emma to coordinate with the Tag Dies...a favorite among everyone for sure!!!
 I have 2 projects to share using this set mixed with some of my favorite older MCT goodies.....
Here they each are up close......
My first project is a card I made using some of the layers that are included in the new release set, the "LOVE" as well as those zig zag dies....don't you just love the stitching running through them???
I started my card by layering 2 of the pre-sneak dies for next month as my card mat and then die cut the zig zags in rainbow colors. After adding them to my mat and stamping the sentiment from the Family is Everything new release I took the "LOVE" letters, added some glossy accents to them for the shiny effect and placed them in the center of the rainbow. Love this way it looks :)
CAS but in my opinion, so fun and pretty :)
  My Creative Time Products Used:
Tag Die Layers (New Release)
Family is Everything (New Release)
Pre-Sneak Rectangle Base
Additional Products Used:
glossy accents
scrap cardstock from my stash
and for my next project.....
For this project, I used the new Tag Die Layer to make a birthday tag. I started out by die cutting both the Tag Die as well as the new release Tag Die Layer in white, blue and black cardstock. I knew I wanted to make a shaker tag, so I added the blue shimmer cardstock underneath  the top layer, after adding the "happy b-day" sentiment (how fun right??? that is one of the new releases!!)
For the shaker part, I die cut one of the balloons from the Stitched Party Dies set and added some blue sequins along with some small clear and light blue seed beads. I then finished off the balloon by adding a Totally Black trendy twine string and some more random sequins.
Tag Die Layers (New Release)
Additional Products Used:
MCT 35th New Release Sneak Peek Day 2
Good Morning and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 35th  Release!
Wasn't yesterday's projects just AMAZING??? Well there is LOTS more coming up this week!
Today the DT will be showcasing projects using the new set~
Family is Everything
and I have 2 cards to share using this set mixed with some of my favorite older MCT goodies.....
Here they each are up close......
I knew when I saw the paint splatters that I wanted to make a colorful card using the sentiment from the Happy Hunting stamp set. So using one of the stamps from the new Family is Everything set and some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, I randomly placed different splatters on my card mat. To add some extra embellishing to this card, I placed matching sequins on top of each stamped splatter.
 My Creative Time Products Used:
Family is Everything (New Release)
Happy Hunting
Pre-Sneak~Rectangle Base
Additional Products Used:
Sequins, Tim Holtz distress Ink
and for my next card.....
I LOVE the gorgeous word dies Emma has been creating. I just celebrated my 16 year anniversary with the hubs and made this with him in mind :)
I again sneaked a new die coming out next month as well as using the new Family is Everything word "love" die with those fun Stitched Restroom Peeps.
I shadowed the sentiment with another die cut in black to match my peeps and added a decorative border using the Fun Stitched Edges die. Since our wedding colors were red, white and black I kept to this color combo by adding a beautiful black crinkle ribbon bow to the top corner.
First up a birthday gift card holder. We all know there are times when we need that last minute gift and these gift card holders are so easy to put together and can be embellished very quickly as well.
Back 2 School.....{Inspiration Wednesday w/MCT}
Good Morning and Happy Hump day everyone!
 It is time for another
Wednesday Inspiration with My Creative Time
where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.
For my project, I used a card I found on Pinterest HERE as my inspiration.
I love the adorable back to school theme and design of it and knew that I could make it my own using some of Miss Emma's awesome My Creative Time stamps and dies! Plus I was able to use some of the new release stamps and dies :)
So here is my take on the inspiration.....
This card was very simple to put together and everything I used on the card besides the twine is from MCT. I started with a white card stock base and added a smaller mat of lined designer paper. Since my card is a school themed card, I did add the notebook die to the top.
Next I die cut the new Number Fun Dies from 1-7 as well as the adorable apple from the Love to Learn set. Each of the apples were cut using coordinating pattern paper...aren't they just so cute?
Finally I stamped the sentiment, using 2 different ones from the Write On set, masking parts of the sentiment to make my own.
To finish my card off, I added some Totally Red Trendy Twine.
Other Supplies Used:
Trendy Twine~Totally Red
So what do you think????? Want to see more projects?
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
I know the inspiration is AWESOME!!!!
Welcome Back Mini Bus Cards.....{PKS Face Day}
Good Morning everyone!
It is my day to share a Face Day project over on the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog!
For my project today, I made 2 mini back to school cards that I thought would be adorable to give to my kids bus drivers. We always talk about Teacher Appreciation, but tend to forget about the Bus Drivers that ensure our kiddo's make it to school and home safely every day!
These mini's, measuring at about 3x3 were so easy to put together and would be awesome to mass produce for Bus Driver Appreciation as well!
I used the Kawaii School Lollipop file from SVG Cutting Files and instead of making sucker covers, I used the layers only for my mini cards. I placed all the layers on what would be the base for the suckers, grouped them together and then removed the base layer. Next I used the offset feature to add a frame around my bus. After duplicating the frame and welding two together for the card base, I cut out all of my pieces.
I used probably my favorite PKS face assortment set~ PK~1300 Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment and stamped the 1" face onto my bus. I added some chalk to his cheeks, white gel pen to his eyes as well as some copic color to both his eyes and mouth. I finished his face off with some glossy accents.
I finished my cards off by adding the sentiment and bus number (which actually happens to be my kid's bus number) using My Creative Time's Write On stamp set.
So there is my Face Day project for today. I really hope you have enjoyed these cuties!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!
Head of the Class Blog Hop! {Post 2}
*if you are looking for my PKS Challenge card please click HERE*
Good Morning, Happy Friday
and
Welcome to the Head of the Class Blog Hop with My Creative Time!
Miss Emma has designed this mini release with some AWESOME Back to School stamps and dies plus a bunch of add on dies to match some of the already released ones.
Sit back, you get to take a front seat in the class :) while the DT showcases these new releases.
Now you should be coming from the VERY talented
but if you are just stopping in, make sure to head back to the start~ the AMAZING
You are not going to want to miss a thing! She really ROCKED another awesome new release (well she always does, doesn't she?? Of course!!)
I have 3 different projects to share, hope you like them!
A while back Emma made this adorable treat pouch using the Tri-fold Card Die (she has a GREAT video showing how she made it too). I used the same technique she did and made it to hold some pencils. I ended up cutting off the decorative top to the die cut to add the notebook border. I did add some machine stitching around the sides and bottom to made sure my pocket does not separate.
Then using the new Love to Learn set, I die cut the chalkboard, the welcome back sentiment and the awesome pencil! Isn't it just adorable?? LOVE the stitching on it too!!! I did use the other new release~Write On to stamp the number 2, the scribble from the You are Fabulous to place under the pencil and then finished up my project with some enamel dots and some Trendy Twine.
My Creative Time Supplies Used:
Love to Learn (New Release)
Write On (New Release)
Other Supplies Used:
DCWV~The Grade School Stack
Sewing Machine
Enamel Dots
****************************
Next up are these adorable pencil sucker covers.
I love making treats to hand out. Even though my boys are older now and probably wont be handing these out to their teachers, these would for sure make a GREAT Teacher Appreciation treat for younger kiddo's to give to their teachers. For these I used the 2 new sentiments from the Write On stamp set. This set is packed with awesome new sentiments! Since I hid the Kawaii face that came with the file, I thought it would look adorable with a Peachy Keen face instead. And since the sentiment is "sweet" along with the sucker inside, I used the adorable Sweet & Innocent face assortment set :)
Finished off with some Totally Black Trendy Twine, these are ready to be given to that special teacher!
My Creative Time Supplies Used:
Write On (New Release)
Other Supplies Used:
Peachy Keen Stamps~ PK-1300 Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment
SVG Cutting Files~Kawaii School Lollipop
Trendy Twine~Totally Black
copics, glossy accents, chalk. white gel pen
*******************************
Last up is a card I made using the Freebie Stamp set that everyone will receive when they place an order this weekend! Whooo Hooo!!!
I wanted to keep my card on the simple side to make the sentiment the focal point. Using the Stay Focused stamp, I stamped it onto the inside piece of the Just Simple Live frame die. I cut a frame slightly larger and mounted the sentiment onto it. Using the new Stitched Decorative Banner dies, I die cut 3 pieces using the largest die and just extending it to make it longer. Some random enamel dots and this card was completed.
My Creative Time Supplies Used:
Stay Focused (New Release)
Stitched Decorative Banners
Just Simply Live
Other Supplies Used:
MME~ Sunshine paper pad
Enamel Dots
