To My Bunny!......{Made in Minutes w/MCT}

Good Morning and welcome to
My Creative Time's~ Made In Minutes!
Where the MCT DT will be sharing quick and easy projects using MCT stamps and dies that you can recreate in no time.

For today's project I thought I would whip up a few Easter treats.....
I found these cute carrot cut files in the Silhouette store and cut them out using orange card stock. They were very plain jane so to dressed them up a bit by stamping each carrot with 2 of the chevy stamps from MCT Build a Chevy. One in Wild Honey and the other in Gathered Twigs. After filling these treats with some goodies, I closed them up with some May Arts Ribbon and added my oh so cute bunny tag.
For my tag I used one of the banners dies from the Build a Banner set and just flipped it upside down to add my hole to the top. I stamped the tag then with a sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays and again with the cute bunny silhouette from the Hello Spring stamp set. Some stickles to his tail and a fun pear pin to hold the tag onto my carrot and my treats were completed!

And all under 15 minutes per treat!

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Bazzill Orange, White

Try Me Tuesday.....{MCT}

Good Morning and Welcome to
Try Me Tuesday w/My Creative Time!
For this "Try Me Tuesday", the DT is going to make our card base using a die. When doing this technique, start by taking a piece of card stock folded in half and placing the die so that the folded edge of the card stock is just inside the cutting line of the die.
Easy enough, right?
 The best dies for this application are large shapes, so using Emma’s dies you could easily do this with the large tags, XL label die, or any of the journaling dies.
Here is the card I made using the 3x4 Stitched Journal Die. I have used this technique before (you can see my card HERE) and love the size of this card.
Perfect for adding a gift card inside which is exactly what I did! Plus they can be made for any occasion!
Look at how great the Tag  Gift Pocket Die looking inside the card.
Supplies Used:
Paper~My Minds Eye~Cowboy, white card stock
Stamps~ Coffee Break
Dies~Layering Coffee Die (Coffee Break)
Embellishments~ enamel dots, foam pop dots, white gel pen

Well that it all I have to share :)
  Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!

Peachy Keen Stamps Mid-Month Release Blog Hop!

Good morning
and
Welcome to our March Mid-Month Release Blog Hop at Peachy Keen Stamps!
We have some super cute projects to share with you that feature additional stamps being released TODAY that go perfectly with our  Faceless Chickens and Chickie Faces that were released earlier this month.  The response to these has been outstanding, so you know this just HAD to happen!

You should have arrived here from
Jessica's Blog
if you’re hopping along in the set order,
but if you just happened upon this post then you can go back to the beginning at
and start from there so you don’t miss one wonderful project.

Grab your favorite beverage and relax with us for a few minutes as you take in the talents of our team, and be sure to leave comments along the way for a chance to win all four sets in this release!  That’s right!!  One lucky person who hops and comments with us today will win all four of these sweet stamp sets!

I am super excited to share my project with you today! I just LOVE this mid month release and being a HUGE chicken lover.....these are so up my alley!
I have been sitting on this painter tray for a long time....I am thinking over 2 years and have yet to find the perfect use for it...well I finally did and I am over the moon in LOVE with this! I hope you like my project too :)
Here it is! I will walk you though the different sections of my project and show you close-ups of each of them. You can always click on the pictures too to bring them up bigger.
I used a TON of Peachy Keen Stamps for this and have them all linked at the bottom of my post. All 4 of the new release stamps plus 2 of the stamps released at the beginning of the month are mixed into this project. Are these chicks not the cutest! I just love that little one with her glasses on...LOL! The Hen House block shows the new Harringbone background stamp and can you see the new Chicken Wire Stamp? It is next to that adorable chickie with her glasses.
We have a running joke in our house~ you know the one stamped here~ "Why did the chicken cross the road"? Well the answer according to my kids is because "He was stuck to the duck"...LOL! Don't ask me where that came from  but it must be said here on average of 5 time a month :)
We are hoping to get some spring chicks within the next few months. There is nothing cuter than little fluff balls cheeping :) Then they get bigger....give up yummy eggs and follow us around the yard. They will join the 4 big girls we currently have now.
Another funny story...my hubs is always saying to me when I am on the phone with my friends~ chuck cluck cluck.... yeah you know how it is chatting away with the BFF. So I just had to add that CUTE sentiment with the adorable chick from the March SOTMK.

For Some Bunny Special.....{Seize The Sketch #16}

Good Morning Everyone!
It is time for another Seize The Sketch Challenge.

Here is the new challenge sketch.....
Hosted this week by the very talented Jen
And here is the card I made based on the sketch!

For my card I used the adorable Peachy Keen Stamp set~ Somebunny Special and paper pieced the bunny using designer paper from My Minds Eye~Blush paper pack. Following the sketch exactly, I used the Stitched Journal Die from My Creative Time for the mat of my sentiment and bunny and then added 2 banners using My Creative Time~Vintage Stitched Label Dies.  I added a bit of zig zag stitching to the top of the banner pieces as well, just for alittle something extra and colored in the bunny belly, tail and ears using my white gel pen. A bit of chalk to her sweet cheeks and some copic color to her nose and mouth and my card was completed.

So what do you think???
I hope you like my card and will play along with the new challenge!
Make sure to head on over to the Seize The Sketch blog to see what the other DT members created with this sketch and for all the details on how you can play along.

Tag it Tuesday w/ My Creative Time

Good Morning and welcome to
Tag it Tuesday with My Creative Time!
For those of you who may be new to this, it's when we make any project using a tag.

 For my project today, I made 2 mini Easter Tags using some of the new goodies that were released last month!
These were super easy to put together and I used leftover scraps and diecuts so making these were a breeze.

Both of my tags use the same base~ and one of my favorite dies~ the Just Tags Stamp & Die Set. I used kraft cardstock as my base and then layered some designer papers on top. I used the Hello Chickie! Stamp Set for both the Easter Basket, Eggs and adorable chick. I couldn't help but stamp the cute chickie with the new Chickie Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps. Isn't she adorable???
The grass is also a new die from MCT~a must have too~ the Stitched Grass Die which is perfect for ton's of those spring projects!!
Finally the sentiment on the Easter Basket tag is from the To My Best Peeps set and the sentiment for the chickie tag is from the Hello Chickie! Stamp Set.
I finished my tags off with some May Arts Ribbon and a bow of Totally Natural Trendy Twine!
Well that it all I have to share :)
  Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the Design Team has created.
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!

Happy St. Patty's Day....Made in Minutes {My Creative Time}

Happy St. Patrick's Day
and
welcome to another
My Creative Time's~ Made In Minutes!
If you are new to this segment, it is where the MCT DT  shares quick and easy projects using MCT stamps and dies that you can recreate in no time.

Since it is St. Patrick's Day I have a CAS card to share that took maybe a total of 5 minutes to put together :)
I love using MCT dies with wool felt! The dies cut through the felt so beautifully and the felt adds so much texture and dimension to a card~ don't you think?
So for my card I used the Shamrock Die from the set~ You're my Pot of Gold with some beautiful green felt. I wanted it to be the focal point of my card.
I hot glued the shamrock to my card and then stamped the sentiment using one of the new releases~ I'm a Lucky Girl.
To add some additional embellishments to my card, I used some green sequins that I had in my stash.
The entire card was placed on a Kraft card stock base with a mat of green card stock and another mat of white card stock.

Make sure to check out the other DT member's projects over on Emma's blog~
My Creative Time.
I know you will LOVE all the inspiration!

Final thing before I head on out....
Don't forget about the MCT Challenge going on now.....
CHALLENGE DETAILS:
- Make a project of your choice using different shades of just one color.  (You can use a different color as your base or background - white, black, kraft; just make sure your focal point displays your monochromatic color choice).
- Deadline for this challenge will be on March 18th @ midnight!
That's tomorrow!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!

Little Bitty Blog Hop w/ My Creative Time!

Good Morning and
welcome to this FUN "MINI" release blog hop with My Creative Time!
If you did not arrive here from
Candace
 then you might want to start off at the beginning of the hop HERE because there is NOTHING you want to miss!

 Emma has been getting SEVERAL requests to make a die to coordinate w/her cute Typewriter stamp that is in the "Once Upon a Time" stamp set! As for the "Never Be Lost" set, well….this is a MUST HAVE for LOTS of fun projects such as your project life albums, scrapbook pages, smash booking, cards.. etc…..!
The possibilities are simply endless w/these 2 new items! Sit back, relax & hop along w/us to see some AMAZING & DIFFERENT ways to use these 2 "tiny but mighty" new items! ;)

For my project I was able to play around with the Never Be Lost stamp and die set and made not one but 2 separate projects to share.
The first is using the coordinating dies for the Never Be Lost set in a different way.
I made a set on mini 4x4 cards and turned the geotags into flower petals.
I just love the way these turned out! And another great way to use up those scrap papers!

Each of the papers I used for my card came from leftovers from previous projects and I added matching solid cardstock to the bottom layers. After cutting out all the pieces, I added them to my card, arranged in a flower pattern with the points of each of the geotags meeting the the center. To cover the area where they meet, I used a button and matching Trendy Twine.
The sentiments for each of these all came from the Card Sentiments stamp and Die set. A bit of sewing for a border and these cards are complete :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my next project I made a PL spread from my son's All County Chorus Concert. He was given an amazing opportunity to perform with students from all over Erie County after auditioning and becoming one of 6 students chosen to represent his elementary school. The concert was this past weekend and we are so proud of what he and the entire chorus was able to accomplish within a week only of practicing.
Wednesday Inspiration......{My Creative Time}
GOOD MORNING everyone
and
Welcome to "Inspiration Wednesday" with My Creative Time!
This is the day that we create something based on what inspired us!
My inspiration came from this pin on Pinterest ~HERE
I LOVE the speech bubbles on this card and knowing that Emma has 2 sets of AWESOME Speech Bubble Dies, I knew I could totally case this card using them.
So here is what I made......
Here is how I made this card. I started with a white card base and added a layer of designer paper from My Minds Eye~Dolled Up paper pack. Then using the Stitched Round Speech Bubbles and the Stitched Square Speech Bubbles I cut several different one using matching pattern paper from the same paper pack.
To finish my card up, I die cut "HI" using the super adorable Lowercase Fun Dies .
So what do you think????? This was such a quick and easy card to put together....I could of totally used this for our Made In Minutes segment with My Creative Time too :)
Want to see more projects?
Make sure you head on over to My Creative Time to see what the rest of the DT made!
For my project I made a sweet Easter Treat to place in one of the kiddo's basket.
I used the new March SOTMK and made this....
I just think it turned out adorable....don't you?? And that bunny...CUTE as can be!
So here is how I made this. I used the adorable bunny from  the new release kit and colored her using my copics. For a bit more embellishing, I added some chalk to her cheeks and white gel pen doodles, plus I added some stickles to her bow (kinda hard to see in the pic). She was added to a die cut tag from My Creative Time~Just Tags Die and Stamp Set and tied to my pretzel bag using some May Arts Ribbon and an adorable Pear Pin from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions.
Then for the candies, I made my own candy wrap using designer papers from my stash and the scalloped border die from My Creative Time~Fun Stitched Edges Dies. Once my candies were wrapped, I added some of the adorable carrots, also from the Peachy Keen Stamps SOTMK, colored with my copics to the tops of the candies. I finished this off by adding my stamped sentiment to the center candy.
So what do you think? Such a cute Easter treat, and I had a blast making it!
