Trick or Treat.....Halloween Door Hanger {PKS}

Hi Everyone!!!
Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend so far!
The weather is beautiful here and while I did sneak away to make a project for this week's Peachy Keen Stamps Anything Goes Challenge, I will be heading out shortly to go to my son's football game!
It is the annual Pink Bowl...sponsored by a local MRI business and all the boys load themselves up with pink. The company gives the whole football organization pink socks and then the boys go ahead and add pink to whatever else they can. I made some pink vinyl dog bones (they are the Bulldogs) to put on their helmets and it is truly one amazing site to see!

Now back to my project....The PKS challenge was anything goes...which believe it or not is a hard one...just figuring out what to make when it can be anything...well it really had me thinking. So since Halloween is coming up, I thought I would make a cute door hanger to place on the door of my son to fill with some goodies..
 (yeah I will be making another one too..can't make one for the little one without the bigger one wanting one too...LOL)
Here it is, hope you like it!!!!
Yes I know there are no treats in this right now....If I had them in the house to put in here they would have been eaten already by myself...so it was best to not have the yummies around in the first place :) They will be here in time for Halloween!
So for my box, I used a file from the Silhouette store and cut it out with white cardstock and then the layers using designer paper from K&Company. The box was so super easy to put together and then they rest came to embellishing it. Since it is going to my boys, I wanted to keep it pretty simple. You know how boys can be...it is all about the goods that are inside :)

Here is a closeup of my Candy Corn teddy bear. Isn't he adorable???? I again cut him out using my Cameo. I found that the base layer didn't fit the pieces very well so I made my own mat to place him on. After having all the pieces cut, I wanted to add more to them for some added texture and dimension, so I chalked up the edges a bit, stamped my PK face and added some chalk, white gel pen and some copic color to him as well as bringing out my sewing machine to add some stitching to the candy corn.
Finally to finish off my treat box, I added a May Arts Ribbon bow, orange clothes pin that I had in my stash as well as a tag that I die cut from My Creative Time's Build a Banner. I used the sentiment "To and From" for the PKS September SOTM kit and the "Trick or Treat" is from the new October SOTM Kit.
