Back to School......{Trendy Twine}

 Good Morning Everyone!!
Today I am sharing a Trendy Twine DT post!
This month the DT is showcasing the new
Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine
A fun twist of red and yellow!

Since it is a busy Back to School Time, we have a new challenge for you all.....
We want to see all your back to school projects...BUT there are a few Trendy Twine rules to follow when linking up your projects.
All the details for those are listed over at the Trendy Twine Blog

The Challenge is~
 Back to school Theme
~Using primary colors
~ABC or 123
and
Trendy Twine

Here is the card I made for your inspiration based on the challenge. I had so much fun designing and putting this card together. Hope you like it!!!
Now for the details on my card :)
I was looking for a fun Back to School image to color and came across this cutie from
Some Odd Girl. Meet Bookish Tia. How adorable is she right??? Well I think so. This is my first SOG image and I LOVE the way she turned out. I colored her using my copic makers but before she was inked up I pulled her into my Silhouette Studio and made a frame around her to give her a little border. Then when she was cut I colored her and put her aside to put the rest of my card together.
I have had this adhesive cork paper laying around in my stash for a long time and thought it would make some fun added texture to my card. The panel for Tia was die cut using My Creative Time~Stitched Journal die and layered on top of designer paper from My Minds Eye~Playdate paper pack. Before adding the layers to my Kraft Cardstock base, I used a zig zag stitch on my sewing machine to hold some of the new Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine in place. I tied each end in a small knot and left a bit hanging over :)
For the banner...probably one of my favorite parts of this card, I used the Build a Banner die set from My Creative Time and added some Studio Calico mini A,B,C's to the center. After punching some holes in each of the corners of the banner, I ran some more of the Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine through and tied a bow at each corner. Using some foam pop dots, I popped the banner up and let the twine hang over the egdes.
So there is my completed card.... What do you think????
