Good Morning!!!

Welcome to this week's

Cameo Creations Challenge, 

where it's all about Silhouette, all the time!

This weeks Challenge is:

Welcome 2013

I used one of the newer released files from the Silhouette Store

2013 Chevron Card 

designed by Patty Young

and came up with this...

The GREAT thing about this file....It is so easy to make this card

just cut the pieces and glue in the back

That is it!!

I went ahead and added the additional sentiment and banner

Both are from My Creative Time~

Sentiment is from the Card Sentiments set

and the banner is from the Vintage Label dies

Since the silver paper is shiny I used Creative Inspirations Paint

Deliquesce Black Embossing powder to give it that rich look.

(I tried stamping both with Memento and Stazon ink...neither one wanted to look bold and black...all because of the paper)

Finally I added some clear gelly pen doodles to the numbers and chevron pattern..

I think it added alot more to the overall card...
