Morning Bloggers and  Happy Hump Day!!!

I am back with another 

Halloween card that I made to enter into a few challenges.

~But before we move on I want to to share a little background info....

I was recently introduced to

The Alley Way Stamps

by my bloggy buddy and EAD Designs DT sister

Rose over at

  My Happy Place

who has made some super adorable cards using these fun whimsical stamps.

Here and Here are some of the cards she has made.

So when I popped over to their site I found a bunch of freebies that I downloaded

which can be found HERE

and started creating with them.

 My Christmas card I made for Creative Inspirations Paint this past Sunday used 

 those cute Christmas trees and sentiment

and for today's card I used the adorable 

Bat and Bat sentiment

Here is what I came up with using this as my inspiration...

~I know a bat image to the pumpkin photo...how did that inspire you 

well when I think of bats...I think of pumpkins

which has to all do with Halloween right??

and

~I used the orange from the picture in my bat image as well as on the card

So what do you think??

The card is from Lori Whitlock~

3 Piece Bat Card

that I purchased though the Silhouette Store

and using the Design Studio

I removed the bat from the file and imported 

The Alley Way Stamps digi,

colored him in the program and used the Print and Cut feature 

to cut him out.

I traced just the outside of another bat the same size 

and in the spot the original bat from the file was,

I welded him.

So when I attached the colored digi

he was reinforced by his shadow right behind him

Here is the whole card with the insert pulled out.

For the sentiment...also from

The Alley Way Stamps

I imported it into the design studio, and placed it on the card where I wanted it.

I printed the image out on my computer

then cut the card out.

Then using a border cut I added some extra design to give the front of the card 

some color.

So what do you think???

Didn't it turn out adorable???

I LOVE these whimsical stamps and plan on picking up a set or two really soon

only problem is....which one to pick??

They are all sooooo cute!!
