Gone to the Beach....{MCT Favorite Stamp of the Month Redux}

Good Morning everyone!!

Today we are featuring another "My Favorite Stamp/Die of the Month" redux.

I have the beach on my mind since we will going on our first family vacation in 6 years down to the beach for the 4th. I am SO excited.
With the beach theme swirling in my head and my LOVE for sitting on the beach with a good book or playing in the sand with my boys, I thought that using the adorable Carved Heart set would make a fun frame for a beach inspired shaker card.
I LOVE the way this card turned out!!

Hello Friend...{MCT Do Over Thursday}

Good Morning everyone!!

I first want to apologize for not being around lately. With the end of school and baseball here it has been CRAZY. I do promise to make my way bloggy land and see what you all have been up to!!

To make my card I used the new You Are Spot On stamp/die set for both the sentiment and the circle face. 
I had wanted to make a smiley face since I saw the new spot dies and think that the cutie mustache face is PERFECT for this~don't you??

MCT 56th New Release BIG Reveal & Blog Hop

For my project today, I get to showcase this releases  set~

You are a Blessing along with this releases FREEBIE set Fun Polka Dots

I have 2 cards to share using these sets.....

For my first card, I played around with my zig watercolor markers to create a rainbow background using the new Fun Polka Dots. Next I used 2 of the new Sentiment Label Dies and stamped my sentiment onto the top label die using the new You Are a Blessing stamp set. A few enamel dots completed my card.

For my second card, I went CAS using again the Fun Polka Dots stamp set but this time using the solid polka dots and some Hero Arts Ombre ink. I stamped the polka dots along the top of my card and used another sentiment from the new You Are A Blessing set. I grabbed some matching Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine for a simple bow.

I thought my card was still missing something so I stamped some more polka dots to the bottom corner and then placed some enamel dots randomly on the card.

MCT 56th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the

Just a Note

For my project I made a set of thank you's for some special teacher's for the end of the year.
My boys still have a few more days of school so this set came in VERY handy!!

Since these are for teachers, I pulled out some school inspired sets to add to the new Just a Note stamp/die set.
I used the new mini tabbed note card die and added some lined designer card stock.
For some extra texture on the bottom of my note card, I used the paper border die~ so fun!
The sentiment was stamped onto the front of the designer paper and then I added the adorable die cut apple popped up.
A simple red pearl enamel dot completed my mini note card.

MCT 56th New Release Sneak Day 3

Sentiment Label Dies

And here is my inspiration using this die!

With the 4th of July quickly approaching, I thought I would use those banner dies to make a USA Flag.
I used the smallest banner from the new set and die cut 2 of each color, white and red for the stripes.
Next I used one of the square dies as the blue section of the flag. This is where I heat embossed my sentiment onto as well.
Some red, white and blue sequins completed my card.

How fun are those spots???
I went CAS with my card today to showcase both the solid and outlined spot stamps that are included in this set.
I used some masculine colors for the solid stamping and then slightly offset the outline spots using black ink.
That adorable sentiment was my inspiration for this card so I new that it has to be stamped inside the bright yellow polka dot.
Some matching enamel dots and a simple hemp twine bow completed my card.

My inspiration today came from  Pinterest.  

I found this cute Father's Day card HERE and used the inspiration to make my own version of a Father's Day card using all MCT stamps and dies.

Some of my favorite dies are these stashes...how CUTE is this one!!! 

I paired the stash up with a plaid tie and used the newly released Greatest Handyman set for the sentiment.

A fun and easy father's day card and a perfect LO to mass produce.

Here is the card I made using this new set....

For my card I used 2 of the new balloon dies for a birthday card for my son who turns 13 next week. 
I paired those balloons up with one of the new sentiment from the last release set~ Make a Wish as well as those fun Pretty Bold Numbers dies.
I wanted to keep the card fun so I added some sequins that match the pattern paper and further embellished with some trendy twine balloon bows.

MCT Trending Now~Make it Bright!

Good Morning everyone!

Thanks for stopping by today for another

Trending Now with My Creative Time!

Today we are MAKING it BRIGHT with fun spring colors.

For my card I did make it bright as well as make it fun :)

I used designer paper from DoodleBug Designs  for the bright and cheerful background and played the focal point of my card around the sentiment from the You're Brilliant stamp set.
I die cut the sun from the newer You are My Sunshine set and then thought that he would look super cute with a pair of sunglasses on. Those glasses are so super adorable and you can find them in the What's Growing On? set. 
For the glasses I also added glossy accents for some extra shine on top of the silver shiny card stock.
To finish my card I added some die cut stars from the newly released Shine like the Stars set, layered some Wink of Stella onto the tops of them and then popped them up with some foam. I also added a few gold sequins.
