 My son just turned 15 (on Saturday) so when I saw these new dies I knew that making a birthday card for him was a must do! They are perfect!!!

I used LOTS of MCT stamps and dies for this card and based the whole design around the fun paper I picked up from Echo Park.

Congratulation....Trendy Twine DT

 Good Morning everyone!

I am up on the Trendy Twine blog today with another project featuring the twine color of the month.....

Kraft Red Trendy Twine

I went with a Clean & Simple card for today's post that would be perfect as a wedding card.

I started with a kraft card stock base and then added a layer of designer paper from Echo Park. Continuing along, I added another layer of white card stock but this time I die cut an edge off so the fun pattern paper could be seen underneath. I stamped the sentiment onto the bottom corner and they placed the card aside to begin working on the focal point of my card.

For the focal point I wanted to join the 2 die cut hearts using the Krafty Red Trendy Twine. I took the 2 hearts and taped them together. Then using my hole punch, I added 2 holes to string the twine through.

A simple bow tied and the tails hung longer finished my heart piece.

I popped the whole heart embellishment up onto the card front using some fun foam.

I finished my card off by adding a matching panel inside the card and this is ready to be signed and given :)

More Stitched Edges Dies 
and made this card......

I used those adorable mushrooms and created a little neighbor scene as my project. I colored the mushrooms using my copics and popped them up onto my card mat.
The card mat was made using the lg postage stamp die and 2 of the new stitched edges..one for the hillside and the other for the clouds.
I finished my card by stamping my sentiment, adding 2 little popped up hearts and some Totally Red Trendy Twine.

How adorable is that mushroom?? Miss Emma has 4 different ones in this set and they are all so CUTE!! I colored this one with my copic markers and then die cut out with the matching die that comes in the set. I did the same thing with the little grass :)
I added some stitched clouds behind the mushroom and then stamped my sentiment...1 of 11 also included in this set!!

You Are Incredible.....MCT Thoughtful Thursday

Good Morning everyone!

I hope you are all having a GREAT week so far!!!

It's Thursday  which means time for another

My Creative Time~ Thoughtful Thursday

I am on a mission to make more masculine themed cards to add to my stash. 

I LOVE the new Mad for Plaid set so I used that to draw in my colors for this card.

I made a simple plaid panel of blue, yellow, green and a charcoal and layered it onto the Stitched Postage Frame Die.

The sentiment was stamped onto an oval die and centered onto the middle of my card layers.

It was kinda plain so I added some Totally Black Trendy Twine, some random blue sequins and 3 matching yellow Stitched Star Dies.
