You've been BOOed!....{MCT What a Treat Wednesday}

Good Morning everyone and welcome to another
My Creative Time's
What a Treat Wednesday!!
Halloween is getting closer so for my project today I made a fun treat that can me mass produced and given to anyone you want to "BOO"
To make my project I used one of the clear Pillow Boxes from Trendy Twine and filled it with some candy corn. To close up the box, I added some May Arts Black Chevron ribbon and tied it off on top with some Orangesicle Trendy Twine.
Using the newly released Holiday Tags stamp and die set from the last MCT release, I die cut the circle tags using white and black cardstock and then stamped my sentiment using the Fright Night stamp set. I love going through my older MCT stamps finding sentiments that I forget Miss Emma released :)
The tag was then tied onto the ribbon closure with a simple bow of the Orangesicle Trendy Twine.

No tricks.....just treats! Trendy Twine DT project

Good Morning everyone!
It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine blog!!
I just LOVE this time of year...leaves up here will be starting to change soon, apple picking and of course PUMPKINS!
Today I get to share another project using the featured Mini Coffee Cups, this one just in time for Halloween, along with a perfect Halloween Trendy Twine color~
For my project today, I used the adorable Mini Coffee Cup and turned it into a pumpkin. I started by wrapping the cup with some designer paper and stamped my cutie Peachy Keen pumpkin face on the front.
For my top...or the stem, I used a wooden button  and placed a striped piece of the straw onto the button. I die cut some leaves and hot glued everything to the button. To cover the hot glue, I wrapped some Halloween Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine several times around the base.
To finish my project off, I wrapped some more of the designer paper around the lid of the cup as well as added a die cut circle to to the top in which the button embellishment was adhered to. I took some more of the Halloween Lime Orangesicle Trendy Twine wrapped it 2 times around the lid and attached my sentiment tag with a bow.
Filled with some candy or a Pumpkin Coffee K-cup, this would make a fun gift to give!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

For the focal point of my card I used the newly released Stitched Belly Band Dies for my sentiment. I mixed 2 different stamp sets to make one sentiment....the "it's" and the "party time" are from the Let's Celebrate set and the "halloween" is from the new Happy Everything set. In keeping with the color combo theme of orange, black and white, I added some white gel pen to the "party" sentiment....looks like lights doesn't it?
To finish up my card I added the adorable ghost stamp/die from the Too Cute to Spook set. I just love that cutie face!!!

Happy Everything
This is such a MUST have new release! I can see this being my new GO TO for cards and gifts. If you are a blow follower of mine, then you know I love to make CAS cards. I did just that, made a quick and easy card that can be mass produced and complimented it with a sweet little gift bag. I am actually considering using this card idea for my holiday cards this year :) what do you think???

Here is a close up of the beautiful card I made. I started with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die for my card mat and then stamped the "holidays" in the center. Next I added the new "happy" die cut in matching red designer paper and then again in some fun foam to give the lettering some added dimension. Both coming from the new Happy Everything set. Finally to finish my card off, I used another new release~Holiday Tag for the die cut holly leaves.

The perfect compliment to my card is a matching gift bag, right?? I did exactly the same thing putting the sentiments together on designer paper from Echo Park~Season's Greeting paper but I added it to the front of the Chalkboard Birthday gift bag. Some white ribbon for the handles this is all ready for a gift!

MCT 47th New Release Sneak Day 4

Good Morning and welcome to the final day of sneaks for the
47th New Release from My Creative Time!
I hope you have been enjoying all the amazing DT projects and will stop back tomorrow for the BIG reveal and blog hop!!

For today's sneaks, the DT is showcasing the new set
Stitched Treat Sleeve Die along with this releases freebie Dec 25 Die
I couldn't help by make 2 different projects using the showcase sets plus SEVERAL new release stamps and dies! I will share each project up close...starting with the freebie...
For my first project, I used the new Stitched Treat Sleeve Die and some gorgeous sparkle polka dot vellum to make the bag. Next, using the Belly Band Dies, Freebie Dec25 die and some beautiful green ribbon I decorated the bag. Filled with some decorative paper shreds and a candy cane my CAS gift bag is ready to give on Christmas.

Freebie Die

Our "Freebie" for this release is this ADORABLE "Dec25" die. It will be given to the FIRST 150 shoppers! If you are one of the 1st 150 shoppers it will be automatically added to your package at the time of packaging/shipping. Once 150 shoppers come through, the die will be available for purchase. So, if it’s for sale in the store, you are not one of the 150. No exceptions will be made. This freebie die is not a part of the “bundle” and will be sold separately!

Now since Halloween is closer than Christmas, I wanted to make another treat bag just for that.
I used some designer paper for the treat sleeve and then made the tag the focal point of my project. To make my pumpkin, I used an older set~Seasonal Greetings for the pumpkin and stem and the Stitched Leaves Die for the leaf. Once the pumpkin was assembled, I added it to the new Holiday Tag. It is then perfect for my sentiment, from the Belly Band stamp set and that fun die cut pumpkin. To finish off this project, I added some hemp twine to the pumpkin and attached the tag to the front of the bag using a cutie clothes pin.

MCT 47th New Release Sneak day 3

Morning everyone!!!
Are you ready for Day 3 of sneaks for the
47th New Release from My Creative Time!?!?!?
I know I said this yesterday as well as the day before BUT you are all going to LOVE today's sneaks too!!!
Today's projects feature the new set~
Belly Band Stamps & Stitched Belly Band Dies
And here is the gift set I made using these! I am sure you all know by now that I just LOVE to make treats and especially paring them up with My Creative Time stamps and dies! So let's take a closer look at my projects.....
First up is my gift card holder using the older (and if you dont have this yet~you MUST add it to your wishlist) Embossed Gift Card Holder die. I added some Echo Park designer paper to the front and then using the new Belly Band Die I was able to slip this perfectly around the gift card die. It then gives the perfect spot for my sentiment which is part of the Belly Band stamp set. To further embellish my gift card holder, I used yesterday's sneak set~Holiday Tags and added the cute die cut holly leaves. I also stamped the to and from using the Holiday Tags set :)
Next up is my sweet holiday treat! I filled one of the Medium Candy Bags from Trendy Twine with some wrapped chocolate nuggets. Sealing the bag up and making my tag using the same dies as the gift card holder. This bracket layer die is the perfect size for my sentiment tag and leaves me just enough room to add some more holly leaves. I attached the tag to by bag with some Totally Red Trendy Twine. Both of these projects were super easy and quick to make and would be great for Teacher gifts, co workers or just to have alittle something for a neighbor.

MCT 47th New Release Sneak Day 2

Good Morning everyone and welcome to Day 2 of sneaks for the
47th New Release from My Creative Time!
What did you all think about the projects from yesterday? Pretty FABULOUS right!!
Well I really think you will LOVE today's new Stamp/Die set!
Another MUST have in my opinion...LOL!
Today's projects feature the new set~
Holiday Tags Stamps & Dies
Wait until you see all the tags and stamps that are included in this set! OMG there are a ton and the possibilities are endless!!!!
For my card I took one of the sets of tag dies and used it to make a sentiment tag for my Santa card. I have to say I am loving the adorable Santa pieces that are also included in this set. I used them and placed it on a piece of red designer paper to act like Santa's red suit. Then I took the white of his jacket, the black belt and buttons and his shiny belt buckle and added it to the bottom corner of my card.
Again  for the tags, I used 2 of the new layers and stamped the fun Ho Ho Ho sentiment onto the top white layer. I added a silver eyelet to match Santa's belt buckle and tied it all together with some Peppermint Trendy Twine.

Miss Emma has an AWESOME release of AMAZING stamps and dies that the DT can not wait to sneak all week with you! Then don't forget to join us on Friday for the big reveal and blog hop!!

Happy Everything
This new set is just AWESOME! It comes with 21 stamps and the super fun "Happy" die.
It will be for sure your go to when making cards! Trust me!!
For my project I used the "1st day of school" sentiment and matched it with the "happy" die to make an easy CAS card.
I wanted to add some color so I grabbed the apple die from the Love to Learn set and placed some pattern paper behind my card mat. I added the green for the leaves and the brown for the stem.
Finally for some added dimension, I popped up the "happy" word die on some foam, the card mat on some foam and placed some random enamel dots around.

COFFEE! Mini Coffee Cups/Mini Spoons....{Trendy Twine DT}

Good Morning Everyone!
It is my DT day over on the Trendy Twine blog!
It's a new month and time to showcase some new products from Trendy Twine. Some of my favorites I must add!!!
All month long you will be seeing projects using the
And what better way to showcase these adorable products then making a mini coffee gift set!

To make my project I took the Mini Coffee Cup and added some plain red cardstock around the cup. Next I took an adorable die cut coffee cup from My Creative Time (We're Better Together) and where the "sleeve" on the cup would be, I wrapped some of the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine around. I added a die cut red heart to the top and punched a hole in the upper corner to turn this into a tag. Using the Mini Wooden Spoon, I stamped the sentiment onto the handle (My Creative Time~ All You Need is Coffee) and then was able to hold it all in place by wrapping more of the Cherry Latte Trendy Twine around the top. Filled with a K-cup or even some chocolates, this would make such a sweet treat, don't you think???

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Boo! MCT Flash Friday Blog Hop & Sale

Good Morning and Happy Friday everyone!!!!
Miss Emma has a special treat for everyone this weekend!! A SWEET sale (all the details are listed below) and a fun Mini Blog Hop showcasing this weekend's FREEBIE die
"Boo"
You should be coming from the very talented
Emily
if not you can always head on back to the
My Creative Time
blog to start hopping!
For my project I made a shaker card! I LOVE making them and I just can not get enough of that adorable Ghost stamp/die from the Too Cute to Spook set! To make my card I started out with a piece of orange cardstock for my card base then layered a piece of black topped with a white piece die cut using the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. I wanted to add some color to white cardstock so I used some orange spritz and some black color shine. Just enough to get inky and to take away the white white of the cardstock.
Next using the ghost die, I die cut him into the center of my cardstock. I layered a piece of acetate to cover the cut out and filled him with some sequins. To seal him up, I backed him with a small piece of vellum. I couldn't help but add some more cute googly eyes.....(these were sitting on my desk left over from my last project that you can see HERE)
Using that oh so cutie "Boo" die, I cut him in some black cardstock as well as some fun foam so I could pop him up under my ghost. To flow with the rest of the card I colored the "boo" with my Wink of Stella for some extra shimmer and shine. To then finish my card off, I tied some Totally Orange Trendy Twine  around the top of my card and added another sentiment. The tag is from the Fun Stitched Tag Dies set and the sentiment is part of the Too Cute To Spook new release set

BOO....Inspire Me Wednesday w/MCT

Good Morning everyone!
It's time for another
My Creative Time Inspire Me Wednesday.
If you are new to my blog or to what Inspire Me Wednesday is all about, it is
where the DT makes a project of our choice based on an inspiration subject.

My inspiration came from searching Pinterest where I came across this Halloween card
I took the design concept of both cards and came up with this adorable card....

I started my card with a white cardstock base and added a layer of Authentique~Spirited designer paper die cut using the largest Stitched Rectangular Frame Die. Next I took the newest Stitched Squares Inside and Out dies and made my card focal point. 2 of the square dies were used for that, the largest cut in black cardstock and the 4 smaller ones using matching purple designer paper, again from the Authentique paper pad. For the "Boo" sentiment, I used the Uppercase Fun Dies (LOVE those letters!) and the adorable ghost is from the newest release~ Too Cute to Spook. Since he really is too cute to spook I added some googly eyes and popped him up onto the square frame.
My final embellishing for my card was a May Arts Orange ribbon banner that I stapled onto the top of my card mat.
