The Cutting Cafe Gift Card Holder~PKS Anything Goes Challenge

Good Morning everyone!
Can you believe that Christmas is almost here?!?!
I am so excited and I know my kiddos are even more excited!
For some reason though this year has come so much faster and there just is not enough time to get everyone done....I was panicking yesterday but now that all the Teacher's and student gifts are completed and will be handed out today I feel more relaxed.

I wanted to share the gift card holders I made for my boy's 3 main teachers.
The file for the holder is from The Cutting Cafe~
Talk about so easy.....there are 2 different styles to this file
plain and with scallops as well as both of those with and without the notches.
I used Kraft cardstock to cut the holders out and attached DP from my stash for the top layer.
Those adorable Ginderbread cuties are from PKS~408 Gingerbread Doll Set
They were also stamped on Kraft Cardstock then colored with my white gel pen, cheeks made pink with chalk and their hats paper pieced and stickled.
I tied tulle around them all in a bow
and attached a small jingle bell to the center using twine.
I think they turned out super adorable...
what do you think?
Here are some individual pictures of the little boy and little girl.
Too cute!!
I am entering this over at PKS~Designers Choice

I am now off to get the kiddos ready for school!
It is a fun filled day of parties....Yippee!!

Thanks for stopping by!

HB2U with My Creative Time

Hi everyone!!
I feel like I am running out of time.....YIKES!!!
I got tons done the past few days here like wrap presents, buy last minute presents and make our cookies but there is a HUGE list of things still to be done!
I was asked to do my youngest son's Christmas party on Friday and I need a game to play with a group of 3rd grades....open to suggestions...PLEASE
and
I was asked to come into my other son's 5th grade class to make Christmas cards
So
the next week is going to be busy busy busy....plus I have a PTO meeting tomorrow night and I was set to bring in 7 birthday cards.....I have not thought of making a birthday card since last month!
I have been so busy trying to get my Christmas cards done and in the mail (which the last are going out tomorrow) that I totally forgot to make some birthday cards...
I ended up making one and liking the way it turned out that I made 6 more all the same....
Here they are....
I used PTI card stock and My Creative Time Build a Banner die.
The stamp is from Stampendous~Typewriter Alphabet.
Twinery Twine in Cappucino

Here is a close up....sorry about the poor picture!
I love the clean and simple look of these cards.
They came together fast and I think look great!
What do you think?

Now off to make some dinner....
Have a GREAT night!
I will be back tomorrow with some GREAT news :)

Stay Toasty~ The Digi Bistro Way

Hi everyone!
I have a quick tag to share with you using The Digi Bistro's
newest file~ A Very Penguin Christmas.
This file is filled with 12 new images that are just too cute not to use on a project!
Now I know I didn't cut a penguin (as per the file title) for this tag but I did use the adorable snowman instead.
I plan on attaching a Tim Horton's gift card to the back and give this as a teacher's gift.
He was cut using SCAL and my cricut and then embossed with my cuttlebug on his scarf and hat.
I buried him in a layer of snow that was topped with sparkly stickles :)
The sentiment is from Joy's Life~ Wintery Puns
A little more stickles for his hat, some white gel pen doodles and a satin ribbon completes this project.

I am off to make some more cookies....catch you all later!!

Guest Designer~ 3 Girl Jam featuring Celebrations Crinkle Ribbon

Good Morning!
I am so excited to be a Guest Designer today for 3 Girl Jam!
Julie had 2 new bundles of Crinkle Ribbon that just came out ~~BEAUTIFUL~~
and I got the chance to play with the Celebration Bundle~ OMG this is FABULOUS!!

For my project I made a 3d treat box using all files from SVGCuts.com
My box file came from Santa's Visit
I used the window from the Spirits of Christmas Past
and cut out the frame so these pieces could be attached using a clear piece of plastic.
My cardinal was actually a freebie download again from SVGcuts

For the handles of the box I used the Tuxedo Crinkle Ribbon
attached on each side using eyelets.
A bow is tied at the top
One of the sides has 2 stocking cut from the
Merry and Bright SVG Kit
and little bows using the Sterling Crinkle Ribbon
Here is the other side with a simple Christmas tree that was also
a freebie download
Every gift box need a gift tag so I cut out the freebie
To Santa tag only and the freebie Joy Ornaments and
put those on the front of my tag
The back was left blank so I can write my message.

SO....
There is a Giveaway to win not only the 2 new bundles
Celebrations
and
Wine and Jewels Bundle
BUT

That is 64 total yards of Crinkle Ribbon!

I used Frosty the Snowman and the adorable
Snowman Skates image

This is a very quick and easy card....I colored the image with my copics and then matted it on Scarlet Jewel PTI cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped using Black Memento Ink using Joy's Life~ Wintery Puns stamp set and that too was matted on Scarlet Jewel PTI cardstock.
I ran a piece of black cardstock through my cuttlebug using the snowflake (?) folder
Attached all the layers and TaDa..
A card was born :)
Very simple and very easy.

I have been working on a surprise project that I hope to share really soon with you all.

I used the Xmas Brat~ Presents image and paper pieced her outfit with the red plaid DP.
The rest of her was colored with my copics and stickles were added to the whites of her dress and hat for some extra bling :)
I used my favorite crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam in Mistletoe for the gift wrapping and
My Creative Time~ Build a Banner Die for the tag and All Around Christmas for the sentiment.

The Digi Bistro~ Reindeer Games Christmas Tags

Hi everyone
I have these adorable Christmas Gift Tags to share with you using The Digi Bistro's new file
Reindeer Games Christmas

OMG this file is so adorable and comes with 12 SVG's that are so stinkin cute!!
I needed some gift tags and these cuts were perfect for using up some scraps :)
My tags are all 4" and cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More
I used PKS~ Christmas Tag Mini's for the To and From
Sheer ribbon from my stash and all PTI card stock from my stash
So I cut the ornament at 3"
The tree at 3.25"
and the stocking at 2.5"
I inked the edges and used my white gel pen for some extra doodles

The present was cut at 2.25"
The reindeer at 3.75" and the
Mistletoe at 3"
Again I inked all the edges and added my white gel pen.

I can not decide which of these cuts I like more...they are all so adorable but I am so so so loving this little guy!
The best thing about this project was they were so easy to put together.
The files are super easy to use and my tags are very basic (which is what I wanted)
but the possibility to embellish these cuts are endless!!

So if you like these tags...head over to The Digi Bistro and pick up your own set!!

There is another new set also...A Very Penguin Christmas that I plan on playing with in the next few days....I just couldn't pass these up.
Awesome Job Cher!!

I am entering these over at:

My last post for tonight :)
I finished my card for Bugaboo's 12 Days of Christmas~ Day 10....Yippee I am now caught up and ready for tomorrow's challenge

Day 10  Challenge was to make a Masculine Card
I used Deacon Elf~ Presents and colored him with my copics.
I love the way he turned out all colored in
As for the rest of the card I am not a fan :(
The sentiment is from Joy's Life Wintery Puns set
The twine is from the Twinery in Maraschino
Card stock is from a set that I got at Michael's
The whole card is then matted on a white A2 card.

I'm thinking I may redo this one and make him a tag instead of a card....what do you think?

Anyways I am entering him over at..
Catch The Bug~ 12 Days of Christmas Day 10
