'Tis The Season w/Ribbon.....{3GJ Challenge # 30}

Morning and Happy Friday everyone!!

'Tis The Season w/Ribbon

The challenge will be open for 2 weeks,
November 29th~Dec 12th
so plenty of time to create and share!!

Our challenge is being sponsored by:

with a $10 Gift Certificate to the 3Girl JAM store!
Awesome prizes for sure!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now onto my project!
I recently won the new Echo Park 'Tis the Season paper pack and couldn't wait to jump into it! I was however holding onto it for the perfect project....
and I think I have found it!
OOOHHHH isn't this so fun??
Here is how I made it~
I used files I picked up from the Silhouette Store
and my cameo to cut the sled and 3 presents, all using the coordinating Echo Park papers.
For each of the presents, I wrapped 3GJ crinkle ribbon in Ribbon Candy, Dress White, and Holly Berry. The great thing about the presents is there is room in them for little treats~so fun!!
Then for the sacks I used the small 2" x 3" Cotton Muslin Bags. They are just the cutest and work awesome for holding 2 chocolate nuggets. Since I wanted them more rustic looking, I un~stitched the top, pulled out the drawstring and using my scissors cut off the top.
I stamped the cut Christmas tree using Peeled Paint Distress Ink and the stamp from My Creative Time~ From Our Family to Yours. I wanted to add a bit more color to it, so I added some stickles to the tree and a yellow dot to the top for the star.
(which you can't see due to my bag being folded alittle)
To finish it off, I tied some Moss Jute String around the top and they were ready for the sled.
My sled needed one more thing....a sentiment which I found fit perfectly.
I used My Creative Time~Stitched Oval Die and again the stamp From Our Family to Yours for the "Believe" adding some black brads and foam pop dots.
I sure hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with us over at the
Remember this challenge will run for 2 weeks so lots of time to get your
'Tis the Season w/Ribbon
projects in!!
Thanks so very much for stopping by!!
Have a GREAT Friday!!
Happy Thanksgiving!......{w/Trendy Twine}
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
I hope you all have a GREAT day with family and friend and eat WAY too fun yummy turkey...LOL
Every year my husband and I do the cooking and I just LOVE the way the house smells!
Good times, lots of laughs and yummy food....who could ask for more?
Now onto my card....a few of the Trendy Twine DT decided to do another group post sharing Thanksgiving projects~ so make sure you stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see the other projects.
Here is my simple but pretty adorable Thanksgiving card.....
I used a card base file from Lori Whitlock and added designer paper from The Paper Loft.
I did tie a simple bow of Orange Truffle Trendy Twine around the bottom of the card top and then knotted the ends.
For the image, I used a stamp from Inkadinkado that I have had in my stash forever! It has never been inked up and I am so glad I used it...how cute is it...right?
I did scan the image into my computer and then imported the scanned image to the Silhouette Studio. Once there, I did a trace of the image and then made an offset of the image at 0.075. Tada...now you have a perfectly shaped cut of the stamped image . I took it one step further and made another offset so I could add a colored mat to the back of the stamped image.
Once I cut the image out, I stamped it and then colored it using my copic markers and as well as adding some gold stickles to his hat and shoe buckles.
Here is another pic so you can see the dimension of the image as well as see the fun wave shape of the card base.  To finish my card I stamped my sentiment using Joy's Life Stamps~It's All Fall Puns.
Supplies Used:
Paper
The Paper Loft~Funkysaurus
Kraft, Bazzill Brown
Stamps
Joy's Life Stamps~It's All Fall Puns
Inkadinkado~ Halloween Mini Assortment
Cuts/Dies
Lori Whitlock~ Wave card base
Thankful......{TKJ Challenge #148}
Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
 The Kraft Journal!
This week the challenge is:
So Thankful
~here is the Thanksgiving card I created~hope you like it~
I wanted to use this adorable image from Some Odd Girl for my card.
Meet Indian Tia
Now my coloring of her is not nearly as good as the SOG DT and/or Kristy does, but she sure was fun to color! Using my copics and and some stickles for the sparkle, I colored her and then set her aside to assemble my card.  I started the card using a Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock base and added layers of Graphic 45 designer paper from the Le Cirque paper pack. Once Indian Tia was dry, she was added it to another mat of the Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and more of the matching DP. To embellish my card, I added some Cream Twill Tape and just knotted it as well as placed some Custom Fasteners to the corners with some stickles to add more sparkle. For the sentiment, I used a speech bubble die from My Creative Time's Stitched Round Speech Bubbles set and a piece of the Canvas Triangle. Then using a sticker from the Chit Chat Seasonal Word pack I stuck it to the center of the speech bubble.
So there you have it....
my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
Holiday Tags.....{MCT Designers Challenge}
Hi everyone!!!
I just wanted to pop in with a quick weekend post to share some Christmas tags I made for tag swap I am doing. I was pretty excited to see that My Creative Time's Designer Challenge was for Holiday Tags so I get to enter these over there as well. I ended up making 12 of these and LOVE the way they turned out!
I sure hope you do as well!
What do you think??? I love the chalkboard technique and if you have not tried it yet you really need to give it a go. It is fun and easy and gives a different kind of something to your projects!!
I used the Just Tags dies and white and chalkboard paper for the tag bases. Then using the Just for You stamp set I embossed the sentiment onto the tag.  For the chalkboard look I took some Frost White pigment ink, a makeup sponge and began my technique.  I inked the edges and lightly brushed the ink over the embossed sentiment. Using a clean edge of the makeup sponge, I wiped the extra ink off the tag and the embossed image and smeared the ink further to give some lighter and darker area.
To finish up my tags, I added some stickles to look like the Christmas ornaments on the tree, green buttons from my stash, some red May Arts ribbon from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions and bows using Totally White Trendy Twine.
Here is one set of the 12 I made. I just love the way they turned out and hope the the girls who get these love them as well!!
That is all I have to share with you today.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT rest of your weekend!!!
Merry Christmas......{PKS Challenge}
Hi everyone!!
I wanted to pop in to share a card I made for the new Peachy Keen Stamps challenge that started this morning!
This week's challenge is the sketch shown below...
And here is my take on it...I hope you like it!!
My card is a 4x9 base long card using Echo Park's 'Tis the Season paper pack.
I just LOVE this paper!!!
I added my layers of the pattern paper and then using my sewing machine added a decorative zig zag stitch around the outside. The Christmas tree is actually a file from SVG Cutting Files~Kawaii Holiday Lollipop Covers. I ended up using the layers for the tree alternating the pattern paper with the green cardstock.
For the star on top I used the new Peachy Keen Stamps Nov SOTM set and the matching SVG. After cutting the star using my cameo, I stamped the stitched star on the pattern paper and then popped it up on top of the tree.
Then for the sentiment I used the Peachy Keen Stamps~ Christmas Tag Minis set stamped on a My Creative Time banner die from the Just Simply Live set.
Here is another angle of the card so you can see the dimension the Christmas tree has.
For the additional embellishing, I added some Totally Black Trendy Twine and some flat back green and red pearls.
So there is my card based on the sketch. I hope you have enjoyed it!
Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you all have a GREAT night!!!!
I will be making more of these for sure......for probably every celebration that involves cupcakes :)
How fun are these??? They were super easy to make and with some CUTE PK Gingerbread peeps on them...make for a GREAT Christmas treat!
Here is the first one closer. I used Kraft card stock for the gingerbread peeps and then added some white gel pen to the "frosting" on them as well as some pink chalk for the cheeks.
And here is the other one. For the sentiment, I used a My Creative Time banner die from the Just Simple Live stamp set and "Merry Christmas" from the PKS Christmas Tag Mini set.
Supplies Used:
Happy Tuesday everyone!
I LOVE making tags and was very excited to be a part of wishing Janice a VERY Happy Birthday!
Here is my tag that I sent to her...Hope she likes it!
I just LOVE MCT stamps and dies....they make putting together projects so easy!
I used the Just Tags die for the base layer and the stitched layer and then stamped my sentiment right onto my designer paper.
Then using the Stitched Party Die banner in coordinating paper, I used my sewing machine to stitch the banner to my tag. I added some Totally White Trendy Twine to the banner edges and further embellished with some matching sequins.
To finish my tag, I added some Christmas Candy 3GJ crinkle ribbon and a sparkly button.
Supplies Used:
Paper~ White, Echo Park~Beautiful Life
Stamps~ My Creative Time~Teeny Tag Holidays
Happy Holiday's.....{TKJ Color Challenge}
Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
 The Kraft Journal!
This week the challenge is:
A Color one using the photo seen here
I know Thanksgiving is next week and this picture is all Thanksgiving but I wanted to take a few of these colors and make a Christmas card instead.
So using the Browns, Green, Red and Cream from the picture
and the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch
 I came up with this card. I hope you like my inspiration!
I started my card out with a Brown Kraft Cover weight Card Stock and then added a layer of green cardstock and designer paper from Lilybee Design~Jingle Mistletoe. Next using my sewing machine I added a stitched border around the mats. To add some texture and following the sketch, I added a piece of Natural Burlap Ribbon around the center of the card.
Moving onto the focal point of the card. Using some E-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper, I die cut the piece using My Creative Time~Vintage Stitched Label Die and added more cardstock and designer paper using die cuts from MCT~Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies. For the sentiment, I took a Canvas Tag, separated the layers and die cut the banner shape. Then using the sentiment from MCT~From Our Family to Yours I stamped onto the canvas using Versafine Onxy Black ink.
So there you have it....
my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
FALL Banner.....{Watch us Wednesday w/ TKJ}
Good Morning everyone!
I am so happy to have my project spotlighted over at The Kraft Journal
for our Watch us Wednesday post
So for my inspiration I thought I would make a FALL Banner using products from The Kraft Outlet along with lots from my stash....Here is it, hope you like it!
(click on the pictures to make them larger)
What do you think??? I wish you could see it in person, the texture with all the fabrics and embellishments really make this one fun banner!
For my banner I started out using 4 of the Mini Canvas Triangles and die cut using wool felt from my stash the circles, letters and leaves, all using My Creative Time dies.
Below are close-ups of each of the panels....again click on them to bring them up bigger
Once all my pieces were die cut and hot glued to the canvas triangles, I took some buttons from my stash and added some Natural Hemp Cord to each of them.They were tied in double bows, with one bow snipped to add some extra pieces to the bow...looks kinda fun doesn't it???
Finally to finish my banner, I took a Memo Pin and added some words from the Chit Chat Seasonal Word Stickers. I can not get enough of that sticker set....LOL!
I did add some eyelets to the corners of the banner pieces and then threaded some thick hemp like rope through the holes....now it is all ready to hang!
 So there you have it....
my inspiration for this Watch us Wednesday.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with our current challenge.
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Wednesday!
