Mani & Pedi Time......{MCT 3D Wednesday}

Good Morning and Happy Hump day everyone!!

I am back with my last post as the July Guest Designer for My Creative Time.
You all know by now what a HUGE fan I am of Miss Emma's stamps and dies and it has been an honor to be this month's guest! I hope you have enjoyed all my projects and have inspired at least one or two of you :)

It is 3D Wednesday and I have a fun little gift bag to share! I am in a house full of boys so when I can make something cute and girly I am all over it...LOL
Every girl loves alittle pampering so my project is perfect for that!
Hope you like it!!!
I picked up this super cute Hello Kitty paper pack from Micheal's yesterday after eyeing it for weeks! It has so many adorable papers including this cute polka dot sheet that I used for my gift bag. After cutting the bag out using my Cameo and also cutting the cute nail polish bottle out I put the gift bag together...well actually only really had to glue one side...but I did reinforce the bottom with an extra piece of tape. Then using the Vintage Stitched Label Die and the Mani & Pedi sentiment, I popped it up along with the nail polish bottle to the front of the bag.
After filling the bag with some mani and pedi supplies I closed the bag up with some crinkle ribbon from 3GJ and it is now ready to be given as a gift :)

Supplies Used:
3GJ Dress White crinkle ribbon
Miss Kate Cuttables~ Nail Polish
Hello Kitty Paper Pack
SU Bling

I hope you have enjoyed my 3D project. Make sure to stop on over at My Creative Time for more awesome DT inspiration!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!!

Cute Critters.....{TKJ}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
And this week we want to see your
Cute Critters
And since I am such a fan of Bugaboo Stamps I used one of their cute critters for my card. Hope you like it!!!
For my card I started out with a Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and added a layer of blue cardstock from the Persnickety paper pad from Lilybee Designs and then a layer of Vintage Dictionary Pages. How fun that the dictionary paper matched almost perfectly the cloud designer paper from my paper pack??? I added  some machine stitching to my mat and then die cut some clouds to use as a border from My Creative Time's~ Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies. Then using some Natural Hemp Cord and a Custom Fastener I added  some faded jeans distress stickles and my birthday sentiment using the Teeny Tiny Greeting Stamps set with the matching die, again from My Creative Time.
For the cutie critter, I used the adorable Girl Bear from Bugaboo Stamps, traced her in my silhouette studio so I could perfectly die cut a frame around her. She was printed off on the Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock, the colored using my copic markers and paper pieced using matching papers from the designer paper pack. I wanted to bling her up a bit more so I added some red stickles to her headband and the heart on her dress and also added a SU gem to the bow. She was them popped up using foam dots to the card.

So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!

Merry Christmas......{PKS Style}

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!!
We have a busy weekend planned with a trip to the lake for some much need relaxation, swimming and fishing before the upcoming football season begins for my oldest. I can not wait till the season gets into full swing but before we get to being tied to the football field we are going to enjoy the last of our weekend getaways for a bit.
With that being said I wanted to play along with this week's Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge which is this gorgeous photo inspiration and the current sketch from
THE CHALLENGE:
Create a project using the photo as inspiration. Interpret the photo ANY way you'd like, just be sure to let us in on your creative process!
For my card I flipped the sketch and I know there is nothing in this inspiration picture that says Christmas but there are a few other challenges I wanted to enter this into as well and since I had some papers that were a perfect match to the color combo I thought I would use the new July SOTM kit as well. So here is my card...hope you like my non traditional colored Christmas Card :)
Like I said above,  I used the new July SOTM and the matching SVG for the snowman that comes with the monthly stamp club. After cutting him out with my cameo, stamping him using memento tuxedo black ink and coloring his cute face using my copics, I paper pieced his hat, scarf and buttons using an older Recollections Christmas paper pad that I found while going though my stash. Next I designed my card LO in the silhouette studio to match the current Mojo Monday sketch and then cut out all my pieces. I had to add some machine stitching to all my mats, used some Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine, die cut the tags from My Creative Time~Chunky Jar Accessories Stamp Set, and stamped my Merry Christmas sentiment from the July SOTM set.

So there you have it! What do you think??? Such a fun card, right???
Well that is all I have for you....I am off for the weekend but will try to catch up on everyone's projects during the weekend :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT weekend!!

Designer Challenge "Summer Theme".......{MCT}

Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Guest Designer project!
Today starts a new Designer's Challenge over at My Creative Time~ this one being hosted by the super talented Amy!
Her challenge~
 a Summer Theme!!
This can be anything that you associate with summertime~ bbq, beach, vacations, a certain color palette, picnic~ really just ANYTHING Summery!

So here is the card I made....my inspiration for this comes from wishing I was Just Chillin! on the beach in South Carolina...unfortunately we wont be doing that this summer... no time to get away :( Such a bummer, but since I can't make it to the beach I can dream about it...LOL!
For my card I started out with a white card base and that fun beach wave paper from Echo Park~ A Perfect Summer. Before attaching my mat to the card base, I added some machine stitching around the border, because, well I really have a hard time not using my sewing machine....LOL! The sun, umbrella and beach chair and both star fish are all from the  Day at the Beach cutting file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon also cut using the matching papers from the Echo Park paper pack. Before adding my embossing on the sand, I stamped my sentiment~ a perfect one for my beach scene from My Creative Time~ Things I Love.... new release stamp set.
I did end up using pop dots for the umbrella and sun to give my card some more dimension. I also added some glossy accents to the starfish (kinda hard to see in the picture).

So there is my challenge inspiration. I hope you have enjoyed my card. Make sure to stop on over at My Creative Time for more awesome DT inspiration!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!!!

Tag-It Tuesday.....{MCT}

Morning Everyone and Happy Tuesday!!
I am back with another My Creative Time Guest Designer Spot and today is
Tag-It Tuesday!!
The DT will be sharing Tags using the shades Red, Orange and Yellow and of course all those awesome My Creative Time stamps and dies!
Well I couldn't just make 1 tag....they are just to fun to make so I made 4 :)
Here they all are...so fun right?? And all the great stamps and dies coordinate to make such adorable tags! Since this pic is a bit small (you can click on it to make it larger) I took individual pictures of each of them and will list all the stamps and dies I used on each one.
For the first tag and all the tags I started out using the Just Tags Stamp set die and cut my base layer in the Kraft Cardstock from The Kraft Outlet. All the corresponding designer papers are from American Crafts~Hip Hip Hooray Paper Pad. I used the new release Stitched Camera Die and added the sentiment from the new release Things I Love.... stamp set. To finish this tag off, besides adding some sequin embellishments, I added some Dress White 3GJ crinkle ribbon and some Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine

For my next tag, I used one of my favorite stamp sets~ We are Family and then added a small dot of yellow stickles to the center of the flower. CAS but adorable! Then I added some Harvest Orange 3GJ crinkle ribbon and some Orangesicle Trendy Twine

I love how all the tags turned out but I think this one is my favorite! I used the More of My Favorite Saying stamp set, the Stitched Daisy Die and the Stitched Leaves Die. There is more Dress White 3GJ crinkle ribbon and a bow of Lemon Tart Trendy Twine.

And for my final tag I used the You are Here stamp set matched with the Things I Love...stamp set. I added more sequins, some Holly Berry 3GJ crinkle ribbon and some Berry Trendy Twine.

Well what do you think of my tags? Turned out pretty adorable if I say so myself...LOL!
For more awesome inspiration from the MCT DT make sure to stop on over to the blog HERE!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!!!

Tie It On....{TKJ}

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone!!!
It is time for a new challenge over at
And this week we want to see you
Tie It On
Since there are so many great ribbons at The Kraft Outlet, and I have quite a few that tend to unravel from their original spools and packaging, I thought I would use a new file I picked up at the Silhouette Store and organize my ribbons. So for this challenge and my inspiration I created this project...Hope you like it!
For my box, I started out with the Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and cut the base to my box as well as the inserts that will house my ribbons. Also part of the file was the decorative cover piece which I cut using some designer paper from my stash. After the box was assembled, it was looking quite bare so I wrapped some Natural Hemp Cord around the box and attached a flat back pearl to the center. Yes I knew that this was going to house my ribbon, but I still wanted to add some die cut letter using
After gathering all the ribbon and wrapping each one around the paper holder I used my tiny attacher to put a small sample of the ribbon to the top. Then using the stamped letters from My Creative Time~Just Simply Live Stamp Set, I spelled out each name of the corresponding ribbon, Twill Tape, Ruler and Burlap
This box now houses the 7 different ribbons I own from The Kraft Outlet. Isn't this such a fun way to organize your ribbon???
 So there you have it....my inspiration for this week's challenge.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and will play along with us!
As always I have linked all the supplies I used from The Kraft Outlet throughout my description.  If you have not checked out the store yet....make sure you do! There is so much available, the prices are so reasonable and shipping is super fast!!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Monday!!

Congratulations!......{PK Challenge Card}

Hi Everyone!!
Hope you are all having a GREAT weekend so far!

It is time again to play along in this week's Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge! I LOVE entering all their challenges and was honored to be chosen as the Top Peach for last weeks 3D Project!
So for this week the challenge is...
Create a card (must be a card), and in doing so make it a gift card holder, or include a money slot.

And here is the card/gift card holder I made...Hope you like it!
I have played with this card design before (here is the other card I made using this file)....a fun Halloween file I picked up in the Silhouette store that I altered to make into a baby card. I have yet to use the May SOTM set from Peachy Keen Stamps so what better time to pull them out... Anyways I used Cameo to alter the file so I could weld the word "BABY" to the pull out gift card holder/card. After making all the necessary adjustments I wanted for the file, I cut all the pieces out and began to assemble my card.
Here is what the inside of the card looks like. There is a slot to hold a gift card (sorry I didn't have anything baby related to add to demo so an old Walgreens card had to do the trick) There is also room on both the front, under the gift card to write a message as well as a nice big place on the back.
I used the adorable piggy baby from the May SOTM set, stamped it on my cardstock and then added some copic marker to his ears and belly, paper pieces his feet and added more copic color for some added dimension and for his face added some white gel pen freckles above his cute chalked cheeks. I couldn't leave my baby piggy without his diaper, so using the same stamp set, I stamped the image on white cardstock, cut it out and added some extra copic colors.
Finally the sentiment is also from the May SOTM set and I used one of the new My Creative Time stamp sets~ Tab Notes for the banner. It was a perfect size for my sentiment! Just LOVE when that happens :)

Supplies Used:
Paper~ Kraft (The Kraft Outlet), White and Bazzill Pink
True Friends~ Carta Bella (Annie's Paper Boutique)
My Creative Time~Tab Notes
Cuts/Dies~ 3 piece Halloween card~ Lori Whitlock (Altered to remove bat)
"Baby"~ Letter used and welded to card base
Extra~ Copic Markers, White gel pen, chalk, pop dots

So what do you think??? I don't know of anyone having a baby right now, but I am sure this will come in handy in the near future!
Well that is all I have for tonight. Thanks so very much for stopping by and have a GREAT night!!

The sentiment is also from the image and I tied the whole card together using some Aqua Splash crinkle ribbon. The match to my DP couldn't have been a more perfect one! It was like Julie made the ribbon to match this paper!

And since I needed a birthday card for one of my son's friends, I incorporated it all and came up with this... Hope you like it!
